Mammotion LUBA mini 2 AWD 1500H Robot Lawn Mower

A 1,500 square metre lawn with slopes and narrow links, mapped without wire

The LUBA mini 2 AWD maps by 360-degree LiDAR and dual cameras, so there is no boundary wire and no antenna pole to site. Mammotion rates it for 1,500 square metres, 80 per cent slopes, 20 zones and paths down to 68 centimetres, with a fixed edge disc for cutting close to walls.

Published specifications

  • Maker: 360° LiDAR, 61 m range, 360 x 49° field of view, dual-camera AI vision
  • Maker: 1,500 m² coverage, 80% (38.6°) slopes, 20 mowing zones, 68 cm narrow paths
  • Maker: fixed 12 cm edge disc cuts to about 5 cm from a wall; 6.1 Ah battery
  • Maker: IPX6, rain detection, under 65 dB, cloud backup for up to 10 maps
  • Listing: 7.9 in cutting width, 2.2-4 in cutting height, 7 positions, 54.9 lb
  • Maker: free 4G module with 3 years of data; no term stated beyond that

Strengths

  • No boundary wire and no antenna pole to site, unlike the RTK generation before it
  • Maker states the narrow-path and zone limits, so you can check them against your garden
  • Battery management includes charge limits, off-peak charging and cold-weather preheating

Caveats

  • Mammotion dates LiveMap and Straight-Line Adjustment to late 2026, after purchase
  • The manual supplied with the listing is for the earlier RTK-based LUBA mini AWD series
  • No blade interval, winter storage procedure or warranty terms published for this model

Segway Navimow i105N Robot Lawn Mower

A small lawn with an open spot for a GNSS antenna and clear sky above it

The i105N is Navimow's eighth-acre RTK mower: no perimeter wire, but a GNSS antenna you must site in the open and at least two metres from walls and trees. It maps from the app, handles up to 12 zones, and adapts its schedule to live weather data rather than a rain sensor.

Published specifications

  • Manual: recommended area 1/8 acre; 60-100 m² per hour; about 90 min mowing per charge
  • Manual: 7.1 in cutting width; cutting height 2-3.6 in set by a knob, applies to all zones
  • Manual: up to 12 zones; channels the mower passes through must be wider than 1 m
  • Manual: antenna at least 2 m from houses, trees and walls, on flat unhardened ground
  • Manual: anti-theft alarms and tracking require the separate Access+ 4G module and live service
  • Manual: replace all three blades and screws every 1-2 months; blade model HA002E

Strengths

  • Assist Mapping lets the camera find lawn edges so the mower maps the boundary itself
  • Detailed winter storage and spring restore procedure, including marking the station position
  • Weather Adaptive can pause or delay mowing for rain, snow, heat, frost or wind

Caveats

  • Anti-theft tracking needs the Access+ 4G module, sold separately, plus unexpired 4G service
  • Cutting height is set by a knob on the mower and applies to every zone at once
  • Moving the GNSS antenna later means the existing map is unusable and you remap
