DEWALT DCK2101QQ1WW1 20V MAX XR Hammer Drill and Impact Driver Kit (4Ah + 8Ah)
Heavy drilling on the 8Ah pack with a spare 4Ah for the driver
This kit pairs the high-torque DCD1007 three-speed hammer drill with the DCF845 impact driver, one 4Ah and one 8Ah POWERPACK battery. The drill's manual requires a side handle, which Amazon lists but DEWALT's kit list does not, and the kit page showed No Warranty while the tool documents state three years.

Fit and limits
Strengths
- Includes the 8Ah battery DEWALT used for its drilling claims
- Manual capacities up to 5 in. hole saws and 1/2 in. masonry bits
- Impact driver and drill share the same XR battery system
Caveats
- Kit page warranty field read No Warranty; tool documents say three years
- Side handle appears only in Amazon's list, not DEWALT's
- Charger model is not named by DEWALT or Amazon
Two tools with one 4Ah and one 8Ah battery
DEWALT's kit page lists a DCD1007 20V MAX XR brushless 1/2 in. three-speed hammer drill, a DCF845 20V MAX XR 1/4 in. three-speed impact driver, one DCB2104 XR POWERPACK 4Ah battery, one DCB2108 XR POWERPACK 8Ah battery, a charger, a contractor bag and two belt hooks. Amazon's included-components line matches and adds a side handle.
DEWALT's holes-per-charge and application-speed figures for the drill were measured with a DCB2108 8Ah battery, which this kit includes. The charger model is not named by either source. DEWALT lists the kit at 13.73 lb and 17.25 by 9.45 by 5.75 in.
Side handle: Amazon lists it, DEWALT's kit list does not
The DCD1007 manual carries a high-torque warning and says to always operate the drill with the side handle installed. Amazon's included components name a side handle; DEWALT's include list for this kit does not, although the DCD1007B tool-only page counts a side handle among the drill's three pieces.
Check that a side handle is in the box before drilling large holes. DEWALT rates the drill at 2,100 in-lbs of maximum brake torque in laboratory testing, and the manual says the clutch is not active in drill or hammer mode. Its ANTI-ROTATION system is described in the manual.
What the drill is rated to do
DEWALT's DCD1007B page lists three speeds with a 2,000 rpm maximum, 38,250 blows per minute and eleven clutch settings. The manual's maximum recommended capacities are 1-1/2 in. auger and paddle bits, 3-5/8 in. self-feed and 5 in. hole saws in wood; 1/2 in. twist, 4 in. hole saw and a #9 step bit in sheet metal; and 1/2 in. carbide percussion bits in masonry.
The manual says to start slowly in metal, to use cutting lubricant except on cast iron and brass, and to drill a pilot hole first for holes of 5/16 to 1/2 in. in steel. Speed 1 is the highest-torque setting and speed 3 the fastest.
The DCF845 impact driver
DEWALT rates the DCF845 at 1,825 in-lbs of torque and up to 3,400 rpm with three speeds; its thirty percent more torque claim is against the DCF885 rated at 1,400 in-lbs. The tool page lists 8.07 in. length and 2.35 lb without a battery. The manual says the chuck takes 1/4 in. hex accessories and 1 in. bit tips only, and impact-rated accessories only.
The manual adds that delivered torque varies, so fastenings that must meet a torque value should be checked with a torque wrench. The worklight stays on for twenty seconds after the trigger is released.
Weight and care
DEWALT lists the assembled kit at 13.73 lb and 17.25 in. long; Amazon's details table gives no weight. The drill manual says to charge only between 40°F and 104°F; the charger manual was not read for this guide.
The drill manual asks you to blow dust out of the vents at least weekly and states that its worklight, charger and batteries are not user-serviceable. The DCF845 manual says the same of its charger and battery.
The kit page shows No Warranty; the manuals say three years
When read, DEWALT's DCK2101QQ1WW1 kit page showed its warranty field as No Warranty, and Amazon's details list no warranty field. The DCD1007B and DCF845B tool pages both list a three-year limited warranty, one year of free service and a ninety-day satisfaction guarantee, and both manuals carry a three-year limited warranty heading.
The manuals say the warranty does not apply to products sold in Latin America. Because the kit page contradicts the tool documents, ask DEWALT or the seller to confirm coverage for this exact kit before relying on it, and keep the purchase record.
