A wide-deck kit with two batteries
This listing sells Greenworks' 60-volt, 25-inch self-propelled mower with two 4.0Ah batteries and a dual-port charger. The listing and the manual call it MO60L427, while Greenworks' product page names the kit LM2516S; the page's barcode matches the listing UPC.
Greenworks' in-box list is the mower, a grass collection bag, two 4.0Ah batteries, a 6.0-amp dual-port charger and the owner's manual. The manual's packing list adds a spare set of high-lift blades, and it notes that assembling the upper handle needs a Phillips screwdriver that is not included.
The mower cuts with two blades rather than one. The manual's blade section treats them as blade A and blade B, each with its own positioner. The manual covers replacement; this page does not repeat those steps.
Runtime and acreage: three sets of numbers
Greenworks' product page gives up to 60 minutes of runtime with both included batteries, up to one acre, and an 80-minute recharge, or 40 minutes per battery. The listing bullet says 70 minutes and three-quarters of an acre, and a listing field says 80 minutes of battery life.
None of the sources explains these differences. The listing's runtime is higher than the maker's while its acreage is lower. Ask Greenworks or the seller which figures apply before you size the kit to your lawn.
The manual says the mower switches automatically to the second battery when the first cannot continue. It lists compatible batteries as LB602 to LB606 and other BAC-series packs.
Bag or mulch only, no side discharge
The manual's technical data lists two functions, mulch and rear bag, and its setup pages cover only the grass catcher and the mulch plug. Greenworks' feature text also calls it a 2-in-1 bagger or mulcher, although the page's summary line says 3-in-1 including turbo leaf pickup.
Neither maker document describes a side discharge chute for this model. Greenworks' page lists seven cutting heights, and the manual gives the range as 1-3/8 to 4 inches.
Blade speed is 4,000 RPM, rising to 4,500 RPM when you press the turbo button, per the manual. The listing's cutting-height fields read 3.5 cm maximum, 4 cm minimum and three positions, which do not match either maker source.
Self-propel drive and weight
The manual gives a self-propelled speed of 1.9 to 4.9 feet per second, set with a speed control marked with rabbit and turtle symbols, while the listing says 3.5 to 4.5 miles per hour. The drive can also be engaged with the blade off, and Greenworks' FAQ says the drive is a separate motor you do not have to use.
The manual gives the weight as 70.6 pounds without the battery packs; the listing says 67.2 pounds. Add the two batteries to that figure when you plan to lift it into a vehicle or stand it on end for storage.
Both the manual and Greenworks' FAQ warn against mowing slopes steeper than 15 degrees, and the manual asks for a low self-propel speed on slopes. Read the manual's safety chapter before first use; this page does not repeat it.
Spare high-lift blades, cleaning and storage
The manual says the spare set of high-lift blades is for tall or wet grass. Its mowing tips also say not to cut wet grass, so the manual carries both statements; ask Greenworks before you plan to mow damp growth.
Cleaning follows the manual: a dry cloth, no water, and the underside of the deck cleared after each use. Greenworks' FAQ says not to expose the unit to water and suggests a rubber deck scraper for hardened debris. Keep petroleum products and strong solvents off the plastic parts.
The manual describes a vertical storage position with the handles folded, and says to store the mower in a dry area. Greenworks says the EZ Fold handles take up to 70 percent less space.
Four-year warranty
Greenworks' page, the listing and the manual all give four years of cover for the tool and batteries. The manual's terms apply to the original purchaser with proof of purchase, with repair or replacement at Greenworks' discretion.
The warranty covers personal use only. Hired, rented or commercial use is excluded, along with normal wear, routine items such as lubricants and blade sharpening, finish wear, and damage from misuse or not following the manual.
Transport costs for warranty work fall to the owner unless Greenworks requests the return in writing. Keep your proof of purchase, which the manual requires for any claim, and contact Greenworks before shipping anything.
