A push mower kit, and what is in the box
This is Greenworks' 60-volt, 21-inch push mower sold with one 5.0Ah battery and a charger. The listing and the operator manual call it MO60L516; Greenworks' product page names the kit LM2116, and its barcode matches the listing UPC. There is no self-propel drive, so you push its full weight.
Greenworks' in-box list names the mower, the battery, a charger, a grass collection bag and the owner's manual. The manual's packing list adds a side discharge chute and a high-lift blade, which is a spare blade on top of the one fitted to the mower.
The manual explains the second blade: the stock blade suits dry, shorter grass, while the high-lift blade suits tall or wet grass, with more airflow that the manual says helps prevent clogging. The manual covers blade replacement; this page does not repeat those steps.
Runtime: 45 minutes from Greenworks, 60 in the listing
Greenworks' product page gives a runtime of up to 45 minutes with the included battery and a recharge time of 50 minutes. The listing description says 60 minutes of runtime with the same 50-minute recharge, and neither source explains the difference.
Both sources rate the kit for lawns up to half an acre. The manual says the mower switches automatically to its other battery when the first cannot continue, and the listing describes a dual-port design where the second battery is sold separately. Only one battery comes in this kit.
The manual lists compatible batteries as LB602 through LB606 and other BAC-series packs, and chargers as CAC801 and other CAC-series units. Check any Greenworks 60V battery you already own against that list before relying on it as the second pack.
Heights, modes and turbo
Cutting height is set with one lever across seven positions. The manual's technical data gives 1-3/8 to 4 inches; Greenworks' product page lists 1.3 to 4.0 inches. The two sources agree on the maximum and differ slightly on the minimum.
Greenworks' page calls it 4-in-1 (mulch, bag, side discharge and a turbo leaf pickup), while the manual's technical data lists three functions plus a turbo button. Pressing turbo raises blade speed from 2,800 to 3,200 RPM. The manual explains which of the bag, mulch plug and side chute to fit for each mode.
The manual says the LED headlights come on when you grab the start handle, and a four-light gauge on the mower shows the battery level while you work.
Weight, wheels and storage
Greenworks' page and the listing both say 59.5 pounds; the manual gives 59.5 pounds as the weight without the battery pack. Either way, this is a push mower, so all of that weight is moved by hand. Greenworks lists 8-inch front and 10-inch rear wheels.
The manual describes a vertical storage position with the handles folded, standing on its brackets. Greenworks markets the folding handles as EZ Fold and says they take up to 70 percent less space.
The manual says to store it in a dry area, and Greenworks' FAQ asks for a place that is cool, covered and dry. Remove the safety key and battery first, as the manual requires before maintenance.
Weather rating versus cleaning rules
Greenworks' page and the listing describe the mower as IPX4 water- and weather-resistant. Alongside that rating, the manual says to clean it with a dry cloth and not use water, and Greenworks' FAQ says not to expose the unit to water.
Greenworks' FAQ asks for the deck underside to be wiped with a cloth after each use and mentions a rubber deck scraper for hard debris. The manual says to remove the safety key and battery before maintenance, and warns against petroleum products and strong solvents on the plastic.
Both the manual and Greenworks' FAQ warn against mowing slopes steeper than 15 degrees, and the manual says not to cut wet grass. Read the manual's safety chapter before first use; this page does not repeat it.
Four-year warranty terms
Greenworks' page, the listing and the manual all give four years of cover for the tool and battery. The manual's warranty applies to the original purchaser with proof of purchase, and Greenworks will repair or replace defective parts at its discretion.
It covers personal use only. Units hired or rented for commercial use are excluded, as are normal wear, routine items such as lubricants and blade sharpening, finish wear, and damage from misuse or from not following the manual.
The owner pays transport costs for the mower or parts sent for warranty work unless Greenworks asks for the return in writing, so keep the receipt and the original proof of purchase with the manual.
