Peak HP Check product guide
Vacmaster Beast VFB511H 0201 5-Gallon Wet/Dry Vacuum
A compact rolling body with filter and bag supplied
Consider the five-gallon Beast when storage and carrying matter more than maximum tank volume. It includes a high-efficiency cartridge, dust bag and separate foam wet filter. Check the single included wand before planning upright floor cleaning, and do not interpret its one-micron claim as hazardous-dust approval.

Fit and limits
Strengths
- Compact five-gallon body has castors and onboard storage
- Both dry filtration supplies and a separate wet filter are listed
- 18-foot cord extends placement options near the work area
Caveats
- Single included wand may not cover your preferred standing reach
- Smaller tank requires more frequent emptying on large jobs
- One-micron filter claim is not a complete-machine HEPA certification
A smaller tank without buying the largest body
The VFB511H 0201 is the five-gallon Beast model, with a stated 12-pound tool weight, rotating castors and onboard storage. It is a useful size to consider when moving and storing the vacuum matters more than maximizing container volume. The nominal five gallons is the tank's volume, not guaranteed usable pickup capacity; a smaller tank also means less room before emptying.
Check the hose and the single included wand
The kit uses a 7-foot, 1-7/8-inch hose and an 18-foot power cord. Their combined length is the advertised 25-foot reach, not a 25-foot hose or an unobstructed working radius. Car, utility and crevice tools are listed, along with one extension wand. If you want to clean floors while standing upright, verify that wand's reach and compatible extensions before ordering.
Fine filtration does not mean every dust is safe
Vacmaster supplies a high-efficiency cartridge filter and dust bag, advertised for particles down to one micron, plus a separate foam wet filter. That particle-size claim does not establish that the complete vacuum is a sealed HEPA system or approved for hazardous materials. Choose the whole machine and filtration system around the material you will collect, not just the word fine in a filter description.
Cleva's FAQ specifies foam filtration for liquid pickup, with dry filters and bags removed first. After wet use, dry the relevant components before returning to dry filtration. If suction drops or dust escapes, check the appropriate filter's fit, condition and compatibility instead of assuming a partly empty tank rules out a filtration problem. Follow the exact model instructions for the changeover.
Manufacturer figures, not a cleaning-speed test
The specification table gives 102 CFM, 82 inches of water lift and 320 air watts, measured at the end of the supplied hose under an ASTM method. The 5.5 peak-HP badge is not the motor's continuous output. A noise diffuser is included, but we have not measured sound levels and do not treat that accessory as a promise of quiet operation.
