Hiboy S2 MAX Long-Range Electric Scooter
Longer flat commutes where range matters more than suspension
The S2 MAX takes the S2 chassis and adds a 48-volt 11.6 amp-hour battery for a stated 40.4 miles, with a 500-watt motor rated to 650 watts peak, three ride modes and 10-inch tires. It has no suspension, one brake lever operating both brakes, and an IPX4 rating the manual says rules out riding in rain.
Published specifications
- Both sources: 500 W rated, 650 W peak motor, 48 V 11.6 Ah battery
- Both sources: max speed 19 mph, max range 40.4 miles, max load 220 lb

- Hiboy page: no suspension; 10-inch tires; recommended age 16 to 50
- Both sources: IPX4; manual says do not ride in rain or water over 0.78 in
- Hiboy: 12-month warranty; battery capacity fade and no-charge damage excluded
Strengths
- Manual publishes the exact conditions behind the 40.4-mile range figure
- 48-volt pack with a stated 650-watt peak and three ride modes
- Hiboy prints full deck geometry and a rider height range on the product page
Caveats
- No suspension at all, so the 10-inch tires do all the cushioning
- The manual describes the two brakes one way and the listing the opposite way
- UL 2272 is claimed only in the listing bullet, not by Hiboy's page or manual
