ANCHEER Sunshine 26-Inch Electric Mountain Bike
Light-trail and road riding where you can verify claims first
A 26-inch aluminium-framed e-bike with a lockable suspension fork, 21 gears, disc brakes and a removable 48V 7.8Ah battery. ANCHEER states UL2849 for the whole bike, which is unusually specific. Against that, its top speed is published as 19.8, 20 and 22 mph and its range as anywhere from 22 to 55 miles.

A 26-inch aluminium-framed e-bike with a lockable fork
The Sunshine is ANCHEER's 26-inch e-bike on an aluminium alloy frame with a lockable front suspension fork, front and rear disc brakes and a 21-speed drivetrain that ANCHEER's page calls Shimano. Its tyres are 26 by 2.1 inch on double-walled aluminium rims, so this is a light-trail and pavement bike rather than a fat-tyre machine.
Amazon lists the model name as AMAK00026 with the UPC 840533801220 and names Shenzhen Vanpowers Intelligent Technology as the manufacturer. ANCHEER's own page simply calls it the Sunshine. If you are checking a serial or warranty label against a listing, note that the retail model code and the maker's product name are not the same string.
Amazon's included-components field lists only a tool kit, and the listing says the bike arrives 85 percent pre-assembled with an assembly video linked from the gallery. ANCHEER's page also points to an assembly video rather than to a downloadable manual. Neither source we read lists which parts you fit yourself, so watch that video before ordering.
Three top speeds and four different range numbers
Amazon's title and bullets say up to 19.8 mph. ANCHEER's product-highlight strip says 22 mph, its opening paragraph repeats 22 mph, and its motor paragraph on the same page says a 20 mph top speed. That is three figures from the seller and the maker, so decide which matters to you and ask ANCHEER to confirm in writing before you order.
Range is worse. The listing claims up to 55 miles on low pedal assist. ANCHEER's highlight strip says 50 miles maximum range, its opening paragraph repeats 50 miles, and its battery paragraph gives a 40-mile pedal-assist range and 22 miles on throttle alone. None of those figures comes with a stated rider weight, gradient, temperature or assist level.
If you are buying on range, plan against the lowest published number, not the headline. A 22-mile throttle-only figure and a 55-mile assisted claim describe very different commutes, and nothing we read explains the gap or tells you which test produced which number.
The motor and battery figures are stated in different units
Amazon says a 500W brushless geared motor and does not label that as continuous or peak. ANCHEER says a peak 750W motor delivering 50 N.m of torque and does not publish a continuous rating anywhere we read. Those two statements are not contradictory on their face, but neither source gives you both numbers, so you cannot compare this against another bike on like-for-like terms.
The battery is a removable 48V 7.8Ah pack with battery-management protection. Forty-eight volts times 7.8 amp-hours is 374 watt-hours, which matches the listing and ANCHEER's highlight strip. ANCHEER's opening paragraph on the same page instead says 474Wh, which does not match its own amp-hour figure, so treat 374Wh as the figure to check on the pack label.
ANCHEER's motor paragraph claims the bike tackles 20-degree slopes. Amazon's bullets describe four modes: five levels of pedal assist, a throttle mode, a cruise mode held at 10 km/h by long-pressing the minus key for three seconds, and pure pedalling. Neither source states a charging time or a charger rating in anything we read.
Load, weight and the water-resistance wording
ANCHEER's highlight strip gives a maximum load of 265 pounds, and that figure does not appear on the Amazon listing at all. It has to cover the rider plus any luggage, so work out your own loaded weight against it. Amazon's table puts the bike itself at 65.6 pounds, a figure we did not find repeated by ANCHEER.
On water, ANCHEER's highlight strip says IPX5. The Amazon bullet headline instead reads PX54 integrated waterproof line, which is not a recognised rating format and does not say what it applies to. Take IPX5 from the maker as the statement to verify, and remember ANCHEER's warranty separately excludes water damage.
Neither the listing nor ANCHEER's page states a rider height range, a standover height or a frame size beyond One Size. If you are shorter than average or over six foot, ask ANCHEER for the standover and saddle-height figures before ordering rather than assuming One Size covers you.
What the UL2849 claim does and does not say
Both the listing and ANCHEER's product-highlight strip state UL2849, and the Amazon bullet adds that the certification covers the whole electric bike rather than the battery alone. That is a specific claim about the whole bike rather than the battery alone, and it is the maker's own claim on its own product page, not a third-party summary.
What we did not find is any certificate. Neither the product page nor the warranty page we read names the certifying laboratory, a file number or an issue date, and ANCHEER's footer link labelled Safety Certifications resolves to the home page rather than to a certification page. If the certificate matters for your building, insurer or local rules, ask ANCHEER for it in writing.
Note also that a UL2849 claim is about electrical safety, not about the speed, range or durability claims elsewhere on the page. It does not resolve any of the conflicting figures above, and it is not a substitute for charging and storage instructions, which no document we read provides for this bike.
The warranty is tiered, and some parts get months rather than a year
Amazon's warranty field says one year for the motor and battery. ANCHEER's product page shows a 365-day warranty badge. The warranty policy page is more precise and more useful: the frame, fork, battery, motor, controller and charger get one year, while the handlebar, meter, rear shock absorption, wheel hub and shifting system get only three to six months.
Coverage applies to the original owner and ends immediately on sale or transfer, though ANCHEER sets out conditions under which a second owner can inherit the remaining term, requiring the first owner's name, email and order number plus the bike's warranty component label. Proof of purchase is required, and claims must be made to the point of purchase first.
Exclusions are long and include improper assembly, stripped threads from assembly error, water damage, accident or collision, commercial use, extreme or stunt riding, modification, unauthorised repair, and normal oxidation of electrical parts. Inner tubes, chains, sprockets and pedals are treated as consumables, and ANCHEER states that whether a fault is covered is at its sole discretion.
