A 2kWh station with an RV plug, sold without solar or car cables

The C2000 Gen 2 is Anker's 2,048Wh lithium iron phosphate power station, model A1783, sold on this listing as the unit alone. The user guide shows the power station, an AC charging cable and documents in the box; Anker's page lists a 15A AC charging cable and user manual, and Amazon adds a quick start guide, safety manual and warranty card.

The guide says the solar panels, the PV-to-XT60i cable, solar extension cables and the car charging cable are all bought separately. If you plan to recharge from panels or a vehicle socket, budget for those cables. Anker's 800W alternator charging uses a separate Alternator Charger accessory, which the product page lists as an add-on.

2,400W continuous, a TT-30 port and SurgePad

The guide rates total AC output at 2,400W, with the inverter outlets (NEMA 5-20R on Anker's page) and the TT-30 RV port each rated 120V, 20A and 2,400W maximum. Anker's page adds a 4,000W peak. The guide describes SurgePad as allowing up to 3,000W, better suited to heating devices than precision instruments, and not available in bypass mode.

Two USB-C ports give up to 140W each, a third USB-C gives 15W and one USB-A gives 12W, with those last two sharing 20W. The 12V car socket is rated 10A. The guide notes a floating-ground design, so some devices need a separately bought ground-neutral plug to work from the AC outlets.

Charging: 1,800W from the wall, 800W from solar

The guide gives a maximum AC input of 1,800W, with 15A allowed for under three hours and 12A continuous. Anker's page gives 100% in 88 minutes on AC alone, and 80% in 45 minutes or 100% in 58 minutes when AC and solar combine at 2,600W, based on Anker's internal testing. Solar and AC can run together, with solar used first.

The XT60i input accepts 11 to 60V: up to 8.2A between 11 and 28V, and up to 17A between 28 and 60V, capped at 800W. The guide says to connect multiple panels in parallel and keep input at or below 60V. Anker's page lists car input at 100W, about 23 hours for a full charge.

UPS within 10 ms, and the bypass limits

The guide says the unit switches to battery within 10 ms during an outage, and Anker's spec table also lists 10 ms. Neither figure tells you whether a particular computer or appliance will ride through that switchover, so test your own equipment on the unit before depending on it for backup.

The guide's specification lists bypass output at 1,800W, lower than the 2,400W inverter rating, and its AC input section allows 15A for under three hours with 12A continuous. A load that runs on battery can therefore exceed what the unit passes through from the wall. Anker's page also lists a 1,800W bi-directional inlet box output.

Expansion, app modes and storage care

Anker's page and FAQ say a BP2000 (Gen 2) expansion battery takes capacity to about 4kWh. The Anker app needs an account whose country or region matches where you live, and the guide lists Standard, Time-of-Use, Storm Guard and Fast Charging Plan modes, charge limits of 80 to 100% and discharge limits of 1 to 20%.

With limits set, the unit fully recharges after 720 hours to recalibrate its battery reading. Default standby is 12 hours, and the car socket shuts off after five hours without a plug. For storage, the guide says to check it monthly, recharge to 100% if it is below 30%, and fully charge it at least every three months.

Temperatures, cycle life, weight and warranty

The guide lists discharging from -4°F to 104°F and charging from 32°F to 104°F. Anker's spec block also labels the -4°F range as a recharging temperature beside a separate 32°F charging line, which conflicts with the guide; confirm with Anker before charging below freezing. Anker's page states 4,000 cycles to 80% capacity and shows a ten-year lifespan tile without conditions in the text we read.

Weight is 41.7 lb (18.9 kg) on Anker's page and 41.6 lb on Amazon, though one line in Anker's spec block also shows 15.3 kg, which does not match. The comparison table lists 30 dB at under 1,000W as a maker figure. Amazon's warranty field says five years; neither the guide nor the page text we read states the term.
