Tool only: what is in the box
DEWALT's includes list names the DCH133 rotary hammer, a 360 degree side handle and a depth rod. Its page data lists no battery, no charger and no case, and the Amazon listing's model field reads DCH133B.
DEWALT's page data lists an assembled product weight of 6.05 lbs without saying whether that includes a battery. The page data also marks the DCH133B as tool only, so you add a 20V MAX battery and charger.
Impact energy, speed and modes
DEWALT lists 2.6 joules of impact energy and a brushless motor. Its page data lists 1,500 rpm, and the manual's Spanish specification line gives 0 to 1,500 rpm.
A dial sets three modes: rotary drilling for steel, wood and plastics and for screwdriving, rotary hammering for concrete and masonry, and hammering only for light chipping. The manual says not to change modes while the tool runs and never to use a rotary mode with a chisel fitted.
Clutch and handling
If a bit jams, the overload clutch interrupts the drive to the spindle, and you release and press the trigger again to re-engage it. The manual says to hold the tool with both hands, one on the side handle, and to expect a sudden twist if it stalls.
The side handle clamps to the gear case and rotates 360 degrees for right- or left-hand use. The center position of the forward/reverse button locks the tool off.
Bits and depth
SDS Plus bits go about 3/4 in. into the holder and lock when pushed and turned; pulling the sleeve back releases them. Straight-shank and hex bits need adapters, per the manual.
The depth rod on the side handle sets drilling depth. For steel the manual suggests a 5/32 to 3/16 in. pilot hole before holes of 5/16 to 1/2 in., and for masonry carbide-tipped bits rated for percussion drilling.
Uses and warranty
DEWALT names forming, rod hanging, structural connections, beam and column anchorage, steel stanchion mounting, and clip and bracket mounting as uses. The manual says the tool is designed for professional concrete drilling and chiseling and must not be used in wet conditions.
DEWALT's page gives a three-year limited warranty, one year of free service and a 90-day satisfaction guarantee, and the manual states the same three terms.
