The DELTA 3 Classic is EcoFlow's 1,024Wh lithium iron phosphate power station, model EF-DL3-C, about 26.6 lb and 15.6 by 7.8 by 11.2 inches in the manual. The box holds the unit, an AC charging cable, and manuals with a warranty card. Solar and car charging cables are bought separately.
The manual's port list shows AC outlets, one USB-A, two USB-C, an AC input and a solar/car input, with no extra-battery port and no 12V car-socket output. The Amazon listing says it is not compatible with DELTA 2 or DELTA 3 Series extra batteries. Its table is inconsistent about outlet counts, so rely on the manual's port list.
1,800W continuous; surge and X-Boost figures differ by source
The manual rates AC output at 1,800W total with a 3,000W surge; EcoFlow's page and the listing say 3,600W surge. X-Boost, EcoFlow's feature for higher-wattage heating loads, reaches 2,600W at 120V per the manual and product page. The manual says X-Boost is on by default and can be switched off in the app.
X-Boost suits heating devices, not devices with voltage protection, and does not work while the unit is charging or in bypass mode. USB outputs are one 100W USB-C, one 30W USB-C and one 18W USB-A; the listing's 60W figure for the second USB-C conflicts with the manual's 30W.
Charging: 1,400W from the wall, 500W from solar
AC input is 100 to 120V at up to 15A, with a 1,400W maximum that can be adjusted in the app. EcoFlow's page and listing say 0 to 80% in 45 minutes on AC, based on EcoFlow lab data. Solar is used first when solar and AC are both connected, with AC making up the difference.
The XT60i input takes solar at 11 to 60V, 15A and 500W, or car charging at 12V, 8A and 96W with the engine already running. The manual warns to keep total panel open-circuit voltage within 60V and short-circuit current within 15A. EcoFlow's alternator charger also connects through this input with an XT60 cable.
10 ms standby UPS, and an AC timeout to switch off
The manual calls it a standby UPS with a 10 ms transfer time, and says it only works as a UPS when grid input exceeds what connected loads draw. The listing says it protects PCs, servers and medical devices; the manual states it is not intended for life-sustaining medical equipment, so follow the manual and your device maker.
AC outlets turn off after an idle period, which the manual warns can happen with refrigerators; set the AC timeout to never in the app for continuous loads. A separate app setting disables grid bypass so the outlets always run from the inverter.
Temperatures and storage rules tied to the warranty
The manual rates charging from 32°F to 113°F, discharging from 14°F to 113°F and storage from 14°F to 113°F, with 68°F to 86°F optimal. Low-temperature charging protection releases once the battery warms above 41°F, and discharge is allowed above 10°F. It says not to get the unit wet.
For long-term storage, fully charge and then discharge to 60% every three months. The manual warns that leaving it uncharged or unused for more than six months voids the warranty. EcoFlow's page says 30 dB or less at 600W.
Warranty: three years, plus two with app registration
EcoFlow's page says the up-to-five-year warranty is three years standard plus a two-year extension available when you register through the EcoFlow app, and Amazon's field says five years. The app also controls the AC input limit, X-Boost and grid bypass.
Combine that with the manual's six-month storage condition: register the unit in the app after purchase, then put a three-month charge-and-discharge reminder on your calendar. We did not read EcoFlow's full warranty policy, so check its exclusions before relying on the extension.
