What the LB5302 kit is

EGO's POWER+ 530 CFM blower page is headed LB5302, and its configuration table lists the LB5300 as the blower only and the LB5302 as the blower with a 2.5Ah battery and a standard charger. The listing gives model LB5302 and UPC 692042006043.

The operator's manual attached to the listing is headed for the LB5300 throughout, which is the blower in this kit according to EGO's table. The tool figures below come from that manual, and the kit contents from EGO's page and the listing.

Three settings, and the numbers belong to different ones

The 530 CFM and 110 MPH in the listing's title and bullets are the Boost numbers. The manual describes Boost as a button that amplifies air velocity to the maximum regardless of where the adjustment knob is set, returning to the previous speed when you let go.

The manual gives 260 CFM and 50 MPH at Low, 400 CFM and 85 MPH at High, and 530 CFM and 110 MPH on Boost, with no-load speeds of 10,000, 18,000 and 23,000 RPM. EGO's page describes a speed dial of 250, 400 and 530 CFM, so the page and the manual differ at the low setting.

The listing's own description of the range is inconsistent with itself. One bullet says the dial chooses speeds from 250 to 400 CFM, while the A+ content on the same listing says 250 to 530 CFM.

Seventy-five minutes is the Low-speed figure

EGO's page and the listing headline up to 75 minutes of runtime from the 56V 2.5Ah battery. The manual publishes the same 75 minutes but attaches it to a setting: approximately 75 minutes at Low speed with the EGO BA1400 56V 2.5Ah battery.

The manual gives two more figures for the same battery: approximately 22 minutes at High speed and approximately 10 minutes on Boost. So the 530 CFM the product is named for runs for about ten minutes per charge on the supplied pack.

What is in the box, and a parts list that disagrees

The listing's included-components field lists the blower, a 56V 2.5Ah battery, a 56V standard charger and a flat and tapered nozzle attachment. Its bullets say the battery charges in 50 minutes with the included CH2100 charger, and the maker's comparison table on the listing shows a 210W standard charger and tapered and spread nozzles.

The manual's own list of parts is shorter and does not mention nozzles: blower, blower tube and operator's manual, one each. Its parts list section names only a blow tube assembly, so confirm the nozzles with the seller if they matter to you.

The manual names battery packs BA1120, BA1400, BA2240, BA2800 and BA4200, and chargers CH5500 and CH2100, as the ones to use with this blower. The listing says more broadly that the tool works with all EGO 56V ARC Lithium batteries.

Controls, weight, water and heat

The manual describes a trigger that starts and stops the blower, an air-velocity adjustment knob with stepless speed regulation, turned clockwise while running to raise speed, and the Boost button. Its Know Your Blower list names no lock-on button, while EGO's page and a listing bullet both describe variable speed with a lock-on button.

Weight is stated three ways. The manual gives 4.81 lb (2.18 kg) without the battery pack but with the tube fitted, EGO's page gives 7.4 lb with the 2.5Ah battery, and the listing gives 7 pounds without saying what that includes.

EGO's page lists IPX4 weather resistance and a noise level of 65 dB or less, and the manual's symbol key defines IPX4 as protection from splashing water. Its troubleshooting table says a blower that stops because the pack or blower is too hot should be cooled below 152 degrees Fahrenheit (67 °C).

Warranty: five years, with conditions in two documents

EGO's page lists a 5-year limited warranty. The manual's warranty section gives five years from the date of original retail purchase on the tool against defects in material or workmanship, and three years on the EGO Power+ battery pack and charger; the listing repeats the five-year tool and three-year battery split.

The manual says the warranty applies only to the original purchaser from an authorized EGO retailer and may not be transferred, that any EGO product used for industrial, professional or commercial purpose carries one year instead, and that it is void if the product has been used for rental. It also excludes modification, unauthorized repair, misuse including immersion in water, and deterioration of the exterior finish.

EGO's Warranty Policy page adds that EGO reserves the right to reject warranty claims for products bought from unauthorized sellers, including unauthorized internet sites, and points to its store locator. It also says the purchaser pays for transport to and from the authorized service centre, and that there may be a small deposit, refundable when the repair is deemed covered.
