  • Weight, flashlight lumens, recharge interval and the wall charger's status each differ between the listing and GOOLOO's page.

Two names for one jump starter, and what ships with it

The Amazon listing calls this the GOOLOO GT4000 Arctic Jump Starter with -40 degree Fahrenheit Battery Preheat Technology, and its model number field reads GT4000. GOOLOO's own page heads it GOOLOO GT4000 4000A Supersafe Jump Starter with Pre-heating Tech and uses the word Arctic only once, in a sentence about winter emergencies. The cover of GOOLOO's manual reads User Manual Jump Starter GT4000, Turbo Series 4000A Jump Starter.

GOOLOO's page lists a jump starter, heavy-duty jumper cables, a 100W car charger, a USB to Type-C cable, a Type-C to Type-C cable, a cigarette lighter adapter and a storage bag. The listing's bullet and the manual's package page each add a user manual and name the car charger the SC100W Max. No wall charger appears in any of the three lists.

The listing's Manufacturer Part Number reads JS-271, and the manual's cover prints Model No. JS-271 alongside the GT4000 name. The GOOLOO GT6000 listing read on 2026-09-19 carried the same JS-271 part number, so a manual or spare part found by that code alone may belong to a different unit; check the GT4000 name as well.

The figures on the listing, the page and the manual

Peak current is 4000 amps on the listing, on GOOLOO's page and in the manual's specification table, and the manual adds a starting current of 800 amps that neither the listing nor the page gives. The listing and GOOLOO's page rate the unit for 12-volt engines up to 12.0 litres gas and 10.0 litres diesel. Both describe a BOOST mode, which the listing says restores extremely low-voltage batteries; the steps for using it are in the manual.

The capacity figures do not match. The listing's details table gives a 24,000 milliamp-hour lithium polymer pack at 12 volts. The manual's specification table gives 74 watt-hours, 5,000 milliamp-hours at 14.8 volts, and a life of more than 1,000 cycles. Neither document explains the difference, so ask GOOLOO if pack capacity matters to your choice.

GOOLOO's page and the manual list the same outputs: a USB-C Power Delivery port rated up to 100W in and out, a USB-A QC3.0 port up to 18W, a second USB-A port at 5V and 2.4A, and a 15V 10A DC output with a 150W maximum, which the manual says is reached through the included cigarette lighter socket adapter. The listing names the outputs as 150W DC, PD100W USB-C, 18W USB-A and 12W USB-A. Both GOOLOO documents mention a 3.2-inch LED display.

The cold-start claim and the printed operating range

Preheating is the headline on the listing and on GOOLOO's page. The listing's bullet promises pre-heating for ignition from minus 40 degrees Fahrenheit up to 140, and GOOLOO's page says the unit starts in temperatures as low as minus 40 degrees Fahrenheit (minus 40 Celsius), with pre-heating warming the internal battery.

The manual prints two figures. Its specification table gives an operating temperature of minus 20 to 60 degrees Celsius, which is minus 4 to 140 degrees Fahrenheit, the same range as the first answer in the FAQ on GOOLOO's product page. A separate panel calls pre-heating a unique feature of the GT4000, says the unit can be used at minus 40 degrees Celsius, and says it reaches starting temperature within 100 seconds of connecting to the vehicle battery.

The manual says pre-heating turns on automatically when the unit is connected, or from the BOOST button in extreme cold. GOOLOO's FAQ answer on operating temperature also carries a high-temperature storage warning that is worth reading on GOOLOO's page. If cold starts are why you are looking at this model, ask GOOLOO in writing how the -4F operating floor and the -40 pre-heating figure apply to a start attempt before you order.

Recharging: 1.2 hours, one hour, and which charger is meant

The listing, GOOLOO's page and the manual each give about 1.2 hours for a full recharge at 100W over USB-C Power Delivery, and each says five minutes of charging can be enough for an emergency start. The listing ties the 1.2 hours to the 100W car charger in the box; the manual's specification table ties it to a PD100W wall charger, which is not in the manual's package list.

GOOLOO's page makes two further charging claims. One sentence says the included 100W car charger recharges the unit in approximately one hour on the road. A later sentence says it reaches a full charge in one hour with the included 100W wall charger, and the sentence after that reads: Need to buy separately.

So GOOLOO's page gives 1.2 hours and one hour for a full recharge, and calls a wall charger both included and sold separately. Ask GOOLOO which charger and time apply before relying on either figure. GOOLOO's FAQ also says the unit can charge devices while it is being charged, but not while it is starting a vehicle.

Standby, lumens, weight and splash rating

Standby is quoted as 24 months on the listing and on GOOLOO's page, and all three documents give more than 1,000 charge cycles. The listing says to recharge every six months to maintain peak performance, while the FAQ on GOOLOO's product page recommends recharging every three months. Neither explains the difference.

The flashlight is described twice on GOOLOO's page: its headline bullet calls it a 400-lumen LED with high, strobe and SOS modes, and the description panel calls the steady mode a 1000-lumen floodlight. The manual lists normal, strobe and SOS modes, and describes the unit as IP65 water resistant: splash resistant, not to be immersed.

Weight is another gap. The listing's details table says 4.07 pounds, while GOOLOO's page says the unit weighs just 2.4 pounds. Neither document says whether its figure includes the cables, charger or bag, and the listing gives dimensions of 8.98 by 3.92 by 1.49 inches.

Warranty: 18 months in the manual and listing, 18 plus 6 plus 6 in the policy

The listing's details table gives an 18-month manufacturer warranty. The manual's warranty page lists 18 months of online after-sales service, a 30-day money-back guarantee, and replacement of a unit with a manufacturing defect from 30 days to 18 months after purchase. GOOLOO's product page carries a badge reading up to 30 months warranty, and its warranty and refund policy page states 18 plus 6 plus 6 months, with an asterisk pointing to the warranty policy for the conditions on the two extensions.

The policy itself is specific about who is covered. It runs to the original consumer purchaser only, is not transferable to a later owner, and is measured from the date of that first purchase, with a sales receipt or comparable proof required to establish the start date. GOOLOO's stated remedy is replacement with the same model or a refund of the purchase price, at its option.

The exclusions matter as much as the length. GOOLOO's policy excludes misuse, abuse, modification, accident damage, use outside what its product literature authorises, repair attempted by anyone other than an authorised facility, and any unit bought through an online auction house. The same page sets a 30-day return policy for purchases from GOOLOO's official store.
