Caveats
- The manual attached to the listing is headed MODEL: SJ1330 and its specifications section says nothing about the AC outlets or the converter.
- It is a lead-acid pack that wants charging after every use and every 30 days, and neither charging cord is in the box.
- Schumacher's table gives no IP rating, and the supplied manual limits the internal battery warranty to ninety days where the page and listing say one year.
Six jobs in one 18-pound case
Schumacher sells the SJ1332 as a 6-in-1: jump starter, portable power station, converter, air compressor, fast inflator and deflator, and LED area light. Its own page and the listing use the same six-item phrasing, and both put jump starting at 1200 peak amps for 8.0 litre gas and 6.0 litre diesel engines.
The power station side is two 120-volt AC outlets fed by a converter Schumacher gives as 200 continuous watts and 400 peak watts, two 12-volt DC accessory outlets and one 2-amp USB-A port. Schumacher's page also names a digital display, colour-coded clamps and 4-gauge, 24-inch booster cables, and its specification table gives the cable reach as two feet.
The box list is the same on both documents in substance. Schumacher's page gives unit, manual, three-piece hose adapter and bag, and inflator/deflator hose; the listing adds the storage bag as its own line. The listing marks the charging cord as not included, and neither box list names an extension cord or a male-to-male 12-volt cable.
What Schumacher's own specification table says
Schumacher's product page carries a full table, and it holds one figure the listing never mentions: output current of 370 cranking amps alongside the 1200 peak amps and a 20-amp DC port. Input is given as 120 volts AC at 0.3 amps, and output voltage as 5 volts on USB and 12 volts on the DC port and the clamps.
The internal battery is described as lead-acid and non-spillable on Schumacher's page, and as a sealed lead-acid 12 amp-hour pack on the listing. The listing's details table adds that the unit meets UL and gives the part number and model number as SJ1332, with no second model number anywhere on the page.
Two further entries on that table are worth reading. The IP rating line reads no rating, and the product certification line names DOE and FCC only. Schumacher's stated size is 12 inches wide by 11.6 high by 11.35 deep at 18 pounds, while the listing's overview gives 13 by 13 by 14 inches at the same 18 pounds.

The user manual PDF on this listing is Schumacher document 0099001931-00, and its cover reads MODEL / MODELO: SJ1330, Jump Starter and DC Power Source. The string SJ1332 does not appear in it. Its specifications section lists only three lines: a sealed maintenance-free AGM lead-acid internal battery, 12 volts DC nominal, and a 12-volt DC power output of 20 amps.
That short specification section says nothing at all about AC outlets or about a 200-watt converter, which are two of the six functions this listing and Schumacher's own SJ1332 page advertise. The manual's operating notes that were read for this page cover the USB port, 12-volt DC devices and the air compressor.
Several details in the manual do line up with what the listing claims, including the 150 PSI compressor, the inflation time estimates and the charging interval. Matching details are still not a matching document, so ask Schumacher to confirm the correct manual for the SJ1332 before using this one for parts, fuses or a warranty claim.
The compressor is built for top-ups, not fast tyre fills
Both the listing and the SJ1330 manual give the same inflation estimates, and they set expectations clearly. A 13 to 16 inch vehicle tyre takes 6 to 24 minutes, a bike tyre 1 to 3 minutes and a sports ball about 30 seconds. The listing's own description says the compressor is designed for emergency inflation and household use rather than rapid tyre fills.
The compressor has an analog gauge and thermal protection. The listing and Schumacher's feature list both describe an automatic shut-off with an automatic restart after the unit has cooled, and the manual's troubleshooting table gives the same thermal protection as the explanation for a compressor that stops and then restarts once it is cool.
The manual's notes on the compressor are short: do not leave it running unattended, and use the gauge to avoid overinflation. It also says to let the unit cool and to recharge it before it goes back into storage. The manual's own operating and safety text is the place for anything beyond those requirements.
The charging and storage routine this pack needs
This is a lead-acid unit, and the manual is direct about what that costs you. It says to charge immediately after purchase, after every use and every 30 days, gives 70 degrees Fahrenheit as the ideal storage temperature, and warns that leaving the internal battery in a discharged state may cause permanent damage. The listing's description repeats that same guidance.
There are two ways to put charge back in. An extension cord feeds the unit from a household outlet at the 120 volt AC, 0.3 amp input Schumacher lists, and a male-to-male 12-volt accessory cable charges it from a vehicle. The listing marks the cord as not included, and the manual lists the accessory cable as replacement part 94500109.
Two working limits come from the manual as well. The 12-volt DC outlets are capped at 20 amps, with an internal 20-amp fuse a service person must replace if it blows, and the manual says not to power a 12-volt device from the unit while its internal battery is being charged. Its run-time table is an estimate rather than a promise: roughly 34 hours at 4 watts, 5 hours at 24 watts and about 1.8 hours at 80 watts from a full charge.
Warranty: one year on the unit, ninety days on the battery
Schumacher's product page and the listing both say one year, and Schumacher's page describes that cover as defects in material or workmanship under normal use, adding that some products carry a different period and to check the product manual. The warranty printed in the supplied SJ1330 manual gives one year on the jump starter and ninety days on the internal battery, both from the date of retail purchase.
The manual's terms also limit who is covered. The warranty runs to the original retail purchaser, is stated to be neither transferable nor assignable, and limits Schumacher to repairing or replacing the unit with a new or reconditioned one at its own option. The buyer forwards the unit with proof of purchase and mailing charges prepaid.
The manual adds conditions that can end cover early: misuse, careless handling, repair or modification by anyone other than Schumacher, resale through an unauthorised retailer, and removal of a warranty void if removed label. It also states that the warranty is not valid in Mexico, and that repairs need a return merchandise authorisation number from Schumacher customer service before anything is shipped.
