A pocket-sized 12-volt pack with a 150-watt DC port
The GP3000 is a lithium polymer jump starter that the manual measures at 228 by 99.5 by 33 millimetres and 630 grams, with a peak current of 3,000 amps and a starting current of 600 amps. The listing gives a larger set of dimensions and a weight of 1.8 pounds, and neither document reconciles the two.
Ports matter more than the headline number here. The manual lists an in-and-out USB-C at 15 watts, a Quick Charge output that steps through 5, 9 and 12 volts, a 5-volt 2.1-amp USB output, and a DC output it describes as 15 volts at 10 amps, 12 to 16.8 volts, 150 watts maximum, through a 5.5 by 2.1 millimetre barrel connector.
That DC port is what makes the pack useful beyond starting a car, and the listing points at tyre inflators and car vacuums. Note that the manual says a cigarette-lighter socket adapter is not included, so check what connector your accessory actually needs before ordering.
The capacity figure depends on which document you read
The listing's title and its detail field both say 16,000 milliamp hours. The manual's technical specification page instead states 59.2 watt hours, or 4,000 milliamp hours at 14.8 volts. Neither document mentions the other figure and neither explains the difference, so ask the seller which applies to the unit shipping now.
The manual gives a full charging time of five to six hours from a 5-volt 3-amp source. No wall charger appears in the manual's package list, and the manual records that a cigarette-lighter socket adapter is not included either, so plan on supplying your own mains charger.
Cycle life is given as more than 1,000 cycles in both the manual and the listing's comparison table, and both give an operating range of minus 20 to 60 degrees Celsius, which is minus 4 to 140 Fahrenheit.
Charging and storage have narrower limits than operation
The wide operating range is not the whole story. The manual's warnings section says to charge only at an ambient temperature between minus 10 and 45 degrees Celsius, which is 14 to 113 Fahrenheit, a much narrower window than the operating range printed on the box.
It also says not to store the unit where the temperature may exceed 60 degrees Celsius, which is 140 Fahrenheit. Both the manual and the listing ask you to recharge it every three months, and the maker's page and the manual both describe the pack as lithium polymer.
One more timing rule is easy to miss: the manual says not to recharge the pack immediately after using it to start a vehicle, and to let it cool for thirty minutes first. It also says the unit cannot start a vehicle while its own battery is charging.
Where the maker's documents disagree about what it may be used on
The listing says the GP3000 suits cars, trucks and yachts among other vehicles, and GOOLOO's product page adds boats and RVs. The manual's warnings section says the unit is for 12-volt vehicles only and that it is forbidden to use it for other machines such as aircraft and boats.
Those two statements cannot both be followed, and neither document acknowledges the other. If a boat is why you are buying, ask GOOLOO directly in writing before you rely on it.
The protection count does not line up either. The listing and the maker page's bullets both claim ten protections and name them, while the FAQ panel on that same maker page says the unit includes eight protection features. The FAQ panel there is written about GOOLOO jump starters as a group, not about this model.
Small-device charging has a floor, and the light has three modes
The manual explains a limitation worth knowing before you treat this as a power bank. It has a minimum load current of 200 milliamps, so it switches itself off after thirty seconds when the connected device draws less than that. The manual names iPhone 6 series phones, headphones and smart watches as examples that may not charge.
The same thirty-second auto-off applies with nothing connected at all. The manual says the unit can charge devices while it is itself being charged, but not while it is starting a vehicle, so it is one job at a time when an engine is involved.
The LED is switched on with a three-second press of the power switch and then cycles through normal, strobe and SOS before turning off. The 400-lumen figure comes from the listing and the maker's product page; the manual does not state a brightness.
Eighteen months of cover, with conditions
Both the manual and the listing state an 18-month warranty, and the manual describes it as 18 months of online after-sales service with a 30-day money-back window at the start. Within that period GOOLOO says it will replace a unit that fails because of a manufacturing issue.
The conditions are specific. The manual says the warranty is valid on presentation of the original receipt or order number by the original purchaser, and does not cover normal wear and tear, physical abuse, improper installation, misuse, or modification and repairs by unauthorized third parties. All claims are limited to repair or replacement at GOOLOO's sole discretion.
The manual's package list is a cloth bag, host unit, smart jumper cable, a USB-A to USB-C cable, a USB-C to USB-C cable and the manual, while the listing bullet says a storage case. Check what actually arrives against the manual's list, and read the manual's warnings and starting procedure in full before the first use.
