What you get with the GPW2303A
The GPW2303A is the Gen 2 version of Greenworks' corded 2300 PSI brushless pressure washer, SKU 5128502. The model number appears on the product page, on the manual's cover and in the Amazon listing, which sells it as the Pro 2300 PSI variant.
Greenworks' included list is the washer, a 25-foot kink-resistant hose, a pressure washer wand, 15, 25 and 40 degree nozzles, a soap nozzle, a turbo nozzle and the owner's manual. The page's specifications add a 35-foot power cord with inline GFCI, a 14 amp brushless motor, an axial cam pump, a single onboard soap tank, onboard tool storage and 10-inch wheels.
The manual limits it to residential use, not professional use, and says to operate it only at temperatures above 32 degrees Fahrenheit. It is double insulated, with the GFCI built into the plug of the power cord.
Reading the pressure and flow numbers
Greenworks spells out that the headline numbers are separate points: 2300 PSI maximum at 1.2 GPM, and 2.3 GPM of flow at 100 PSI. The manual's technical data list 2300 PSI maximum, 2.3 GPM maximum, 1.2 GPM rated flow and 2760 cleaning units.
The Amazon title and bullets lead with 2300 PSI and 2.3 GPM together. The page describes a smart-sensing brushless motor that adjusts water flow to suit each nozzle, and JettFlow technology it says gives 50 percent more flow.
The listing calls this unit SGS certified; Greenworks' page lists PWMA as its certification. The two documents simply name different bodies, and the listing's details also give a tank volume of 2.3 gallons, a figure that does not appear on Greenworks' page.
Nozzles and what each is for
The manual's nozzle table describes the 15 degree tip as giving maximum pressure for hard-surface preparation and not for fragile surfaces, the 25 degree tip as a versatile washing tip, and the 40 degree tip as wide, lower-pressure coverage for delicate jobs such as car surfaces.
The black soap tip applies detergent at low pressure and high volume; the manual says soap cannot be applied under high pressure with this machine. The turbo tip rotates in a zero to 15 degree circular pattern covering roughly 4 to 8 inches.
To keep the tips clear, the manual describes cleaning them with a straight paper clip or the supplied cleaning tool and flushing them with a garden hose. A clogged filter and a missing tip both appear in the troubleshooting table as causes of pressure problems.
Hose, circuit and extension cord limits
If the washer does not reach high pressure, the manual's first suspect is a garden hose that is too small; it recommends a 5/8 inch or 1 inch hose. A restricted or insufficient water supply and a clogged filter are the other listed causes.
For low voltage, the manual asks that only the pressure washer be running on the circuit. Voltage loss from an improper extension cord is listed too, with the fix being to plug the washer directly into the outlet.
The manual's maximum inlet water temperature is 104 degrees Fahrenheit. It also notes that a washer left unused for long periods may hum at start-up and gives a short recovery routine, or asks you to call customer service.
Pump protector, storage and the no-maintenance claim
Greenworks' page includes No Maintenance in its list of selling points. The manual recommends pump protector solution after every use and before long-term storage, and describes what it says the solution does for the pump; the steps are not reproduced here.
The troubleshooting table suggests running distilled vinegar through the detergent tank if the gun, hose or nozzle become calcified. For storage, the manual asks that the gun, hose and washer be dry, the cord and hose wound, and the unit kept in a dry, frost-free place out of children's reach.
It asks you to clean the housing with a moist soft cloth and check for loose or damaged parts before storing. For a washer left unused for long periods, the manual refers owners to customer service.
Warranty wording and who this suits
The manual gives a three-year limited warranty from the shipping or in-store purchase date, with repair, replacement, substitution or refund at Greenworks' discretion. Proof of purchase and product registration are required, and commercial use is among the exclusions.
Greenworks' page and the Amazon listing both advertise a 3-year limited tool warranty plus a 10-year motor warranty. The warranty section of the manual we read describes only the three-year term and does not mention a 10-year motor term.
The GPW2303A suits a homeowner who wants a corded washer with a turbo nozzle, an onboard soap tank and a published rated flow. It suits you less if you need professional use, which the manual excludes, or plan to run it on an extension cord, which the troubleshooting table flags.
