A 1kWh unit that expands, but only with one battery model
The HomePower 1000 Plus v2 is Jackery's 1,024Wh lithium iron phosphate power station, model JHP-1000B (JHP-1000B-WH in white), about 23.8 lb. The manual's box list is the unit, an AC charging cable and documents; the car charging cable, solar panels and the connector for two panels on one port are sold separately.
The manual says it supports up to five battery packs through its DC expansion port, and the listing says that reaches 11kWh. Jackery's product page is specific: it is compatible only with the Battery Pack 2000 Plus v2, not the Battery Pack 2000 Plus or Battery Pack 1000 Plus. The manual refers you to a Battery Pack 2000 manual, so confirm the exact pack name before ordering.
Outputs: 1,800W AC, a 140W USB-C and a 12V port
The manual rates AC output at 120V, 15A and 1,800W, controlled by separate AC 1 and AC 2 buttons, and Jackery's page adds a 3,600W surge figure. The listing describes four AC outlets on two independently controlled circuits with a cut-off battery level. There is one 140W USB-C, one 30W USB-C, one 18W USB-A and a 12V/10A DC port.
The manual carries a safety caution for the 140W USB-C port and says a 5A USB-C cable is needed for full output; read that caution before use. It also says the 12V port can charge a 12V car battery in emergencies with a separately sold cable, with limits the manual sets out.
UPS within 10 ms, with current limits on grid power
The manual says it switches within 10 ms in UPS mode. It cautions that it does not support 0 ms switching and should not power data servers or workstations, and says to test compatibility several times. The listing's claim that desktops and fridges never notice outages should be read against that.
The manual's UPS text gives two current figures: one line says output peaks at 12A before an outage, another says 15A for up to three hours, then 12A. The specification table agrees with the second, listing bypass at 15A reduced to 12A after three hours. Energy Saving Mode, on by default, turns outputs off after 12 hours below 25W AC or 2W DC/USB.
Charging: normal, emergency, 400W solar and 12V car
AC input is 100 to 120V at up to 15A. The listing gives 1.25 hours for a normal wall charge and 50 minutes in Emergency Charging Mode, which is switched on in the Jackery App. The manual says emergency charging is not for regular use.
Two DC8020 ports take solar at 16 to 60V, 12A each, 21A and 400W combined, with at most two panels per port and the same panels on both ports. Car charging is 12V only, at 11 to 16V and 8A. The manual says not to charge from car and solar at the same time.
Temperatures, clearance and storage
The manual rates charging and discharging from 14°F to 113°F. It asks for at least 0.66 ft (about 200 mm) of clearance at the side vents, a stack of no more than three battery packs by default, and wall placement with anti-tip measures for four or more.
Storage limits are -4°F to 113°F for one month, 32°F to 113°F for three months and 32°F to 77°F for twelve months. The manual recommends recharging every three months and a full charge-and-discharge cycle every six to twelve months while the unit is stored.
Warranty: 3+2 years and a battery-charging condition
The manual gives 36 months standard plus a two-year extension activated by registering online or contacting Jackery, for purchases from Jackery's website, Jackery-branded third-party platforms or authorized dealers. Jackery's page advertises the 3+2 years as available only at jackery.com, while the Amazon box bullet lists a five-year warranty.
The manual excludes the battery cell unless you fully charge it within seven days of purchase and at least once every six months after, and excludes products bought through online auction houses. Jackery's page lists 6,000 cycles to 70%-plus capacity and a 16-year projection, and under 30 dB in Silent Mode.
