A 1kWh LFP power station, sold without solar or car cables
The HomePower 1000 v2 is Jackery's 1,024Wh lithium iron phosphate power station. The manual's cover and specification table give model JHP-1000A (JHP-1000A-WH for white), matching the Amazon model number. It weighs about 23.4 lb and measures 12.4 by 7.9 by 9.2 inches.
The manual's box list is the power station, an AC charging cable and documents; Amazon and Jackery's page say the same. The manual marks solar panels, the solar panel connector for pairing two panels on one port, and the 12V car charging cable as sold separately. Budget for those if you plan to recharge away from a wall outlet.
Outputs: 1,500W across three outlets, and one fast USB-C
The manual rates the three AC outlets at 120V and 12.5A, 1,500W rated in total with a 3,000W surge peak. There is one 12V/10A DC port, one USB-A at 18W and two USB-C ports: one rated 100W and one rated 30W. Jackery's page lists the same USB-C ratings.
The Amazon bullet describes two USB-C ports with 100W fast charging, which conflicts with the manual's 30W and 100W ratings, so plan on one 100W port. Jackery's page claims 3kV surge protection and the listing adds lightning protection; the manual pages we read do not describe either, so treat them as manufacturer claims.
UPS within 10 ms, but not for servers or workstations
The manual says the unit switches within 10 ms in UPS mode. It also says that in UPS mode the peak output is 12A before an outage, lower than the rated output, so a large load plugged in while on wall power may exceed what the unit passes through.
The manual's caution says it does not support 0 ms switching and should not be connected to equipment that needs it, such as data servers or workstations, and that you should test compatibility several times first. The Amazon listing calls it a true UPS for desktop PCs and gaming rigs, and Jackery's page shows a data center scenario, so test your own computer before relying on it.
Charging: normal, emergency, solar and car
AC input is 100 to 120V at up to 15A. Jackery's page footnote says the 50-minute full charge uses Emergency Fast Charge mode, switched on in the Jackery App; the listing says the default mode takes 1.25 hours. The manual says to use emergency charging only when necessary.
Two DC8020 ports take solar at 16 to 60V and up to 12A each, 21A and 400W combined, with at most two panels per port and matching panels on both ports. Car charging uses 12V vehicles only, at 11 to 16V and 8A, with the engine started first. The manual says never to use car and solar charging at the same time.
Temperatures, storage and fault clearance
The manual lists both charging and discharging at 14°F to 113°F. For storage it gives -4°F to 113°F for up to one month, 32°F to 113°F for three months and 32°F to 77°F for twelve months, all at 0 to 60% humidity. It recommends checking and recharging every three months and a full cycle every six to twelve months.
It warns that storing it depleted for three to six months may leave it unable to charge. The troubleshooting table asks for about 20 cm (0.66 ft) of clearance on both sides of the unit. Jackery's page lists 6,000 cycles to 70%-plus capacity and a 16-year projection based on one cycle per day.
The 3+2-year warranty depends on where you buy and registration
The manual gives a three-year standard warranty for the original purchaser with a sales receipt, plus a two-year extension that you activate by registering online or contacting Jackery. It says warranty applies only to purchases from Jackery's website, Jackery-branded third-party platforms or local authorized dealers, and is not transferable.
Jackery's product page advertises the 3+2 years as exclusive to jackery.com, while the Amazon listing mentions five years of after-sales support. Confirm with Jackery whether your Amazon seller qualifies and whether the extra two years apply. The page also quotes 30 dB, measured at one meter in Quiet Mode.
