A 3kWh, 60-pound station sold without panels or a car cable
The HomePower 3000 is Jackery's 3,072Wh lithium iron phosphate power station, model JHP-3000C, about 59.5 lb and 16.4 by 12.8 by 12 inches. The manual's box list is the unit, an AC charging cable and the user manual, matching the Amazon table. No solar panel is included with this selection.
The manual notes that the car charging cable is sold separately, as is the solar panel connector needed to put two panels on one input port. Neither the manual's port overview nor its specification table lists a battery expansion port. Jackery's page has an FAQ on expandability, but its answer was collapsed and we did not read it.
3,600W at 120V, with a TT-30 outlet for RVs
The manual rates the four standard outlets at 20A and 2,400W, the single 30A outlet at 3,600W, and total AC output at 3,600W with a 7,200W surge peak. Two USB-C ports give 100W each, two USB-A ports 18W each, and a cigarette-lighter port 12V at 10A.
The listing describes the 30A outlet as a TT-30 RV port. There is no 240V output listed in the manual's specifications. The manual's charging note adds a cold-weather limit: between 5°F and 14°F the unit still works, but maximum output drops to 2,000W.
UPS within 20 ms, but only 1,440W while on grid power
With the main power on and the unit plugged into the wall, the manual says it switches to battery within 20 ms when grid power fails. In UPS or bypass mode, output while grid power is present peaks at 1,440W (12A), below the 3,600W rating, and returns to full rating during an outage.
The manual's important notes say it does not support 0 ms switching and should not power data servers or workstations, that you should test each device several times, and that you should connect one device at a time to avoid overload protection. The listing names security cameras and medical refrigerators as uses, so weigh those claims against the manual.
Charging: AC, two solar ports and 12V car input
AC input is 100 to 120V at up to 15A. The listing gives 2.2 hours on AC and 1.7 hours with AC and DC together; Jackery's page also shows 2.2 hours for the AC adapter. When AC and solar are both connected, the unit charges from solar first and tops up from AC.
Two DC8020 ports accept 16 to 60V at up to 12A each, 24A and 1,000W combined; each port takes one 500W or two 200W Jackery panels at most, and both ports must use the same panel model and count. Car charging is 12V only, at 12 to 16V and 8A, with the engine started first.
Temperatures and cycle life
The manual rates charging from 32°F to 113°F and discharging from 5°F to 113°F, with the 2,000W output cap between 5°F and 14°F. Jackery's page repeats these figures, so a cold garage is within limits but with reduced output.
The manual and Jackery's page give 4,000 cycles to 70%-plus capacity, and the listing states 4,000 cycles retaining 70%. The page's ten-plus-years claim is tied to Jackery's ChargeShield 2.0 technology rather than stated test conditions, so treat it as marketing. We did not read the manual's storage page.
Warranty: 3+2 years with conditions
The manual gives 36 months standard plus a two-year extension activated by registering online or contacting Jackery, and applies only to purchases from Jackery's website, Jackery-branded third-party platforms or local authorized dealers. For this model it says Jackery will replace a defective product, and coverage is limited to the original buyer.
The battery cell is excluded unless you fully charge it within seven days of purchase and at least once every six months after, and products bought through online auction houses are excluded. Jackery's page says the 3+2 offer is exclusive to jackery.com while Amazon's field says five years, so confirm your seller qualifies.
