NETGEAR Orbi 370 Series RBE373 Dual-Band Wi-Fi 7 Mesh System, 3-Pack
Households that want 2.5 Gbps sockets and app setup, and can live with four Ethernet ports across the kit
The Orbi 370 is NETGEAR's dual-band Wi-Fi 7 mesh: one RBE371 router and two RBE370 satellites, rated Orbi BE5000 with enhanced backhaul across 5 GHz and 2.4 GHz. Every Ethernet socket runs at up to 2.5 Gbps, but there are only four of them in the whole kit, one of which is the internet port. NETGEAR ties a coverage figure to each pack size, publishes unit dimensions and weights, and attaches two conditions to its limited warranty.

Fit and limits
Strengths
- Every Ethernet socket in the kit runs at up to 2.5 Gbps, including the one on each satellite

Caveats

- Warranty is valid only with an authorised-reseller purchase and device registration, and no duration is printed
- Armor is a paid subscription after its trial, and setup needs a NETGEAR account and the Orbi app
One router and two satellites, not three identical units
NETGEAR's what's-included list for the RBE373 is one Orbi WiFi 7 Router model RBE371, two Orbi WiFi 7 Satellites model RBE370, one Ethernet cable, three power adapters and a Quick Start Guide. The listing's included-components field says the same. The router and the satellites are different products with different model numbers.
The listing's tables give the model name as RBE373, manufacturer part number RBE373-100NAS, UPC 606449172539, unit count three, item weight 4.6 pounds. NETGEAR's technical details give each unit as 8.02 in high (203.7 mm), 4.72 in wide (120 mm) and 2.95 in deep (75 mm), with the router weighing 0.79 lb and a satellite 0.78 lb.
NETGEAR's page ties a coverage figure to each way the series is sold: up to 2,000 sq. ft. for a satellite, 4,000 for the 2-pack, 6,000 for the 3-pack and 8,000 for the 4-pack. The listing's 6,000 sq. ft. figure matches NETGEAR's own 3-pack number, and the listing and NETGEAR both give up to 70 devices.
Count the Ethernet ports before you commit
This is the specification most worth checking on the Orbi 370. NETGEAR's router block lists one 10/100/1000/2500 Mbps Ethernet WAN port and one 10/100/1000/2500 Mbps Ethernet LAN port. The satellite block lists one 10/100/1000/2500 Mbps Ethernet LAN port and nothing else.
So across the whole three-unit kit there are four sockets, one of which is the internet port. That leaves one LAN port on the router and one on each satellite for wired devices.
Every one of those sockets is rated to 2.5 Gbps. NETGEAR's page lists a 2.5 Gig internet port, and the quick start guide labels the router's two sockets as a 2.5G Ethernet port and a 2.5G Internet port. The listing's number-of-ports field says ten, which does not match NETGEAR's own specification of four across the kit.
Dual-band BE5000 with enhanced backhaul
NETGEAR describes the speed as Orbi BE5000, simultaneous dual-band Wi-Fi with enhanced backhaul, on both the router and the satellite, and lists the two bands as 5 GHz and 2.4 GHz. NETGEAR lists no 6 GHz band for either unit.
NETGEAR and the listing both call the feature Dual-Band technology with Enhanced Backhaul. Neither source read here publishes a figure for what the backhaul itself achieves, so there is no backhaul rate to plan around.
The router carries a quad-core 1.5 GHz processor, and both the router and satellites are described as having high-performance internal antennas with high-power amplifiers. NETGEAR gives the headline as up to 5 Gbps. Its footnote says the maximum wireless signal rate is derived from IEEE 802.11 specifications and that actual throughput and coverage will be lowered by network traffic volume, device limitations and building construction.
Three networks, WPA3 and what the manual lets you change
NETGEAR's network-security block lists three Wi-Fi networks, main, IoT and guest, and the page says the system runs three separate networks. It also lists access control, WPA3 encryption, automatic firmware updates and support for VPN to reach your home network remotely.
The user manual's contents show how far those settings go. It has sections for changing the main network's name, channel, password and security option; enabling, renaming and re-banding the IoT network; setting up a guest network; generating a new backhaul password; using the system as an access point only; and a network access control list with allow and block rules for devices that are not on the network.
The manual also covers IPv6 connection types, dynamic DNS setup, a default DMZ server and MTU changes. It is a family manual covering several Orbi router and satellite models, including this kit's RBE371 and RBE370. The quick start guide says setup runs through the Orbi app by QR code, and that orbilogin.com or orbilogin.local reaches the web interface for advanced setup.
Armor is a subscription, and setup needs an account
NETGEAR Armor, powered by Bitdefender, is presented on NETGEAR's page as an optional subscription with a trial, and the page says it protects up to 50 connected devices away from home. The listing puts it as a 30-day free trial and says a separate subscription is required.
The quick start guide points to the Security tile in the Orbi app to start the Armor trial, and the user manual has a Manage NETGEAR Armor section, so the subscription is managed in the same places as the network.
Setup itself has conditions. NETGEAR's footnote says setup requires registration for a free NETGEAR account, installation of the Orbi iOS or Android app, and agreement to NETGEAR's Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. The user manual's regulatory page adds a terms-and-conditions clause with a return option for anyone who does not accept them.
The warranty has two conditions attached
The listing's warranty field says 1 Year Limited. NETGEAR's own page attaches two conditions: the NETGEAR limited warranty is valid only if the product was purchased from a NETGEAR authorised reseller and you register the device at my.netgear.com. Neither condition is visible in the listing field.
NETGEAR's product page does not print a warranty duration, and it says technical support is available at no charge for a specified period without naming it. Check NETGEAR's warranty terms and the seller's reseller status before you buy, and register the unit when it arrives.
One more support note sits in NETGEAR's footnotes: for the duration of software and cyber security updates, it directs you to netgear.com/eos. That page was not read for this guide, so check it yourself if update support matters to you.
