Mesh Wi-Fi guide
TP-Link Deco BE67 BE14000 Tri-Band Wi-Fi 7 Mesh System, 3-Pack
Larger homes wiring three nodes together on a multi-gig plan who want WireGuard at the router
The Deco BE67, sold as Deco 7 Pro BE14000, is a tri-band Wi-Fi 7 mesh with 8647 Mbps on 6 GHz, 4324 Mbps on 5 GHz and 688 Mbps on 2.4 GHz across eight streams. Every unit carries a 10 Gbps, a 2.5 Gbps and a Gigabit WAN/LAN auto-sensing port plus USB 3.0, so a three-unit kit has three 10 Gbps ports. TP-Link lists OpenVPN, PPTP, L2TP/IPSec and WireGuard on both the server and client sides, and each unit stands 176 mm tall.

Fit and limits
Strengths
- A 10 Gbps, a 2.5 Gbps and a Gigabit WAN/LAN auto-sensing port plus USB 3.0 on every unit, per TP-Link and the user guide
- Four VPN protocols including WireGuard on both the server and client side, plus WPA3 and a guest network per band
- Listing and TP-Link agree on stream count, antenna count and band rates for this model
Caveats
- TP-Link's own package-content block for the BE67 names Deco BE68 units, with no explanation on the page
- Coverage reads 8,100 sq ft in TP-Link's headline with no pack size named and 3,100 sq ft for one unit on the same page
- One Ethernet cable ships with three units, and 320 MHz is limited to the 6 GHz band and to regions that allow it
This is the three-unit kit of the Deco BE67
This listing's own tables give the model number and manufacturer part number as Deco BE67(3-Pack), UPC 840460603812, unit count three, number of packs three, item weight 5.09 pounds. TP-Link documents the unit on its Deco BE67 page, and TP-Link's Deco BE67 user guide covers it.
A separate Amazon listing sells the same unit as a two-unit kit under the same Wi-Fi 7 BE14000 style selector. Both listings give the model as Deco BE67 with a different pack suffix, a different UPC and the same item dimensions, so the pack size is what separates them.
The listing's included-components field gives one installation guide, one RJ45 Ethernet cable, three Deco BE67 units and three power adapters. One thing to flag on TP-Link's own page: the package-content block on the Deco BE67 specifications tab names Deco BE68 units rather than BE67 for all three pack sizes. Nothing on the page explains it, so confirm the model on the carton when it arrives.
Three wired ports on every unit, including a 10 Gbps one
TP-Link lists three Ethernet ports per Deco unit: one 10 Gbps, one 2.5 Gbps and one 1.0 Gbps, all WAN/LAN auto-sensing, plus one USB 3.0 port with FTP, media and Samba server functions. The user guide's Appearance page describes the same set, one Gigabit, one 2.5 Gbps and one 10 Gbps WAN/LAN port, along with a USB 3.0 port, a WPS button, a power slot and a Reset button pressed for one second.
In a three-unit kit that means three 10 Gbps ports in total. TP-Link's footnote sets the conditions: 10 Gbps and 2.5 Gbps speeds require compatible plans and equipment, and only one port can serve as WAN at a time.
The 10 Gbps port on this model is listed as a plain RJ45 port. TP-Link's hardware block for the BE67 lists no SFP+ port, so a fibre module is not part of what TP-Link documents for this unit.
The band split, the antennas and the 320 MHz condition
BE14000 breaks down as 8647 Mbps on 6 GHz, 4324 Mbps on 5 GHz and 688 Mbps on 2.4 GHz, and TP-Link labels all three as 802.11be rates on this model. The listing gives the same band rates. The standards line covers 802.11be/ax on 6 GHz, 802.11be/ax/ac/n/a on 5 GHz and 802.11be/ax/n/b/g on 2.4 GHz.
The capacity block lists Tri-Band, 3x3 MU-MIMO, OFDMA and 8 Streams, with eight high-gain internal antennas. The listing also gives eight streams and eight antennas, so the listing and TP-Link agree on both counts for this model.
TP-Link's footnote limits the 320 MHz channel width to the 6 GHz band, subject to regional restrictions, and says it needs client support. A separate note says this Deco may not support all the mandatory features ratified in the IEEE 802.11be specification.
Coverage figures that do not line up
The listing says up to 8,100 sq. ft. for over 200 devices. TP-Link's overview page headlines the same 8,100 sq. ft. without naming a pack size, and lower down on that page the feature panel says covers up to 3,100 sq ft (1-pack). TP-Link does not state which pack size the 8,100 figure belongs to.
The two-unit listing for this same Deco BE67 adds two more readings: its coverage bullet says up to 6,000 sq. ft., while its item-highlight field says up to 8,100 sq. ft. Nothing in any of these documents reconciles the figures, so confirm the three-unit figure with TP-Link if square footage decides your purchase.
TP-Link's footnote says coverage, throughput and connected devices are not guaranteed, and the user guide carries a similar disclaimer on speed, coverage and device quantity. The 200-device claim is footnoted as laboratory test data, which is a maker lab scenario rather than an independent measurement.
Encryption, four VPN protocols and what HomeShield costs
Wi-Fi encryption is listed as WPA-Personal, WPA2-Personal and WPA3-Personal, with a footnote that WPA3 requires client support. Network security covers an SPI firewall and access control, and the HomeShield block lists real-time IoT protection, a malicious site blocker, an intrusion prevention system, DDoS attack prevention and a home network scanner. There is one guest network on each of the three bands.
The VPN list includes WireGuard: OpenVPN, PPTP, L2TP/IPSec and WireGuard all appear under both VPN Server and VPN Client on TP-Link's specifications tab for this model.
TP-Link's HomeShield footnote for the BE67 says HomeShield includes the free Basic plan and that fees apply for the Pro plan. The pages read here do not say which feature sits in which plan, so confirm that with TP-Link before relying on one.
Size, setup, environment and the warranty wording
Each unit measures 4.23 x 4.23 x 6.93 in (107.5 x 107.5 x 176 mm) on TP-Link's specifications tab, and the listing's item-dimensions field gives the same three numbers in a different order. Certifications listed are CE, FCC and RoHS.
The user guide says setup runs through the Deco app with a TP-Link ID, and it describes an LED whose colour shows the unit's status. The Quick Installation Guide also carries an LED table, safety information and EU and UK declarations of conformity.
Environment limits are operating temperature 0 to 40 degrees Celsius, storage minus 40 to 60 Celsius, operating humidity 10 to 90 percent and storage humidity 5 to 90 percent. On warranty, the listing field says 2 Year Manufacturer, while the Quick Installation Guide says TP-Link warrants the hardware against defects in materials and workmanship when used normally, for a period that depends on the local service, from the date of original retail purchase, and points to tp-link.com/en/support for the period, policy and procedures.
