A 2kWh, 41-pound station bundled with two 210W panels
The S2400 is UDPOWER's 2,083Wh lithium iron phosphate power station, model AS2400 on the manual cover and in its specifications, about 40.8 lb and 15.8 by 9.5 by 10.1 inches. This listing bundles it with two 210W UDPOWER solar panels, which Amazon says ship separately from the station.
The manual's box list for the station is the AS2400 unit, the original charger cable, a car charging cable and the user manual. We did not read a specification sheet for the 210W panels, so check which solar connection cable arrives with them; the manual tells you to use UDPOWER's original XT60 connecting cable.
The two panels exceed the station's solar limit
The manual says the S2400 supports up to 400W of solar charging and accepts panels from 75W to 400W, and its specification table lists the solar input at 12 to 50V and 10A. Two 210W panels total 420W, so expect the station to cap intake at about 400W at best.
Sources disagree on the ceiling: UDPOWER's page mentions harnessing up to 420W, its FAQ repeats 400W, and the listing says up to 440W. UDPOWER's FAQ estimates about five hours to full with the two 210W panels in its best-condition test chart. Plan around the manual's 400W figure.
2,400W at 120V, with a 3,000W surge feature
Six AC outlets share 2,400W of pure sine wave output at 120V. UDTURBO, UDPOWER's name for its high-power mode, allows instantaneous peaks up to 3,000W for startup surges. DC outputs are four USB-A ports, two USB-C ports up to 100W with PPS, two DC5521 ports and a 12V/10A car socket.
UDPOWER's FAQ says the unit gives only 120V and not 240V, and that a home transfer switch should be connected only with a licensed electrician; it also says never to backfeed the grid.
Charging modes and the ECO shut-off timers
AC input is 120V at up to 15A. A slide switch picks fast charging or optimized charging; the manual says optimized mode turns on cell balancing, slows charging and runs quietly. UDPOWER's FAQ gives 10% to 90% in 40 minutes in its fastest mode and about 100 minutes in battery-care mode, while the listing says 0 to 100% in 1.3 hours.
ECO mode switches off AC after two hours and DC after four hours with no load; in normal mode those become four and twenty hours. UDPOWER's FAQ says this applies below about 5W AC or 3W DC. The manual also says the unit turns itself off after 20 hours of no operation.
UPS within 10 ms, and temperature limits
The manual describes UPSPRIME: when the unit is charging from the grid with AC output on, connected devices run on grid power and switch to battery within 0.01 seconds if the grid cuts out. The specification table lists a response time of 10 ms or less. UDPOWER's FAQ says device compatibility can vary, so test your own equipment.
The manual lists discharging from -4°F to 113°F, charging from 23°F to 104°F and storage from 32°F to 104°F. UDPOWER's product page lists charging from 32°F, which conflicts with the manual's 23°F, so avoid charging below freezing unless UDPOWER confirms the lower figure.
Cycle life and warranty claims
UDPOWER's manual and spec table say 80%-plus capacity after 3,000 cycles. The listing and the page's headline say more than 4,000 cycles, and one page section says over 80% after 4,000-plus cycles. Treat 3,000 cycles to 80% as the documented figure.
UDPOWER's page says its power stations carry a five-year warranty and refers to a separate warranty policy we did not read. The Amazon table gives five years for the S2400 and one year for the 210W panel. The page also markets operation at 20 dB or less without stating test conditions.
