This is two VIVO products sold as one kit

Amazon sells this as DESK-KIT-1B6B-30, and the included components field names a black 60 by 30 inch table top and a black electric single motor desk frame. The two manuals attached to the listing confirm which parts those are: the frame is the DESK-V100EBY series and the top is the DESK-TOP60-30B series.

That split matters when you need spares or support. Each manual carries its own revision and its own VIVO product page address, so a broken control panel and a chipped desktop are looked up under different part numbers even though they arrived in one purchase.

The top arrives as three panels you join yourself

The table top manual's package contents are a right panel, a middle panel, a left panel, four support bars, eight wooden dowel pins and eighteen screws. Step one is to lay the three panels face down, push the dowels into the middle panel and connect the left and right panels to it, then screw the four support bars across the underside.

So the surface is not one continuous piece of board. Amazon's bullet calls it a spacious three-piece 59 inch top and gives the finished size as 59 by 29.5 inches, against the 60 by 30 inch name. If a seamless top matters to you, this is the detail to weigh before ordering.

The frame manual then has you flip the assembled frame onto the top, extend it until the side bracket holes line up, and drive screws into the pre-drilled holes. For non-VIVO tops it gives a drilling diagram: a hole depth of 0.4 inches with a 1/8 inch bit.

One motor, one sync rod, and a 220 pound ceiling

The frame manual lists one motorised leg, one plain leg and a sync rod that ties them together so both rise at the same rate. Its package contents page states a weight capacity of 220 pounds, which is 100 kilograms, and the listing repeats that figure.

The listing gives a height range of 29.2 to 48.4 inches and describes precise telescopic height adjustment, but neither manual we read states the range or says how many stages each leg has. Take the range as listing data and check the numbers on the control panel display once it is built.

Assembly of the sync rod is the fiddly part. The manual tells you to loosen the knob so the rod extends, seat the hex shaft until the metal ring makes contact, match both leg heights by rotating the shaft, and tap the up or down button if the rod will not push fully home.

The duty cycle nobody mentions on the listing

The frame manual's error code table says that if the motor runs continuously for five minutes or more it shuts off automatically to prevent overheating, displays HOT, and you must wait at least eighteen minutes before adjusting the height again.

In ordinary sit-to-stand use you will never reach five minutes of continuous travel. It matters if you are cycling the desk repeatedly to test it, or if something is binding and you keep driving the motor against it. Knowing the eighteen-minute wait is normal saves you assuming the desk has failed.

The other codes in the table are E10 for a motor safety sensor fault, E20 for exceeding the 220 pound capacity, E02 when vibration, collision or incline is detected, E32 for input voltage too high and E31 for input voltage too low. Most resolutions start with unplugging, waiting five minutes and running the reset.

Four presets, a child lock, and an anti-collision setting you can turn off

The controller has an LED height display, up and down arrows and four memory buttons. To store a height you hold the button until H and the number appear, then a quick press returns the desk to it. Holding buttons one and three together switches the display between inches and centimetres.

Holding buttons one and two for two seconds turns on a child safety lock, which shows LOC on the display until you repeat the combination. Holding buttons one and four for two seconds opens the collision force detection setting, where you can choose OFF, Low, Normal or Heavy.

The fact that collision detection can be set to OFF is worth knowing in a room with pets, children or a low shelf above the desk. The manual does not say which setting the desk ships with, so check it before the first full-height run.

Cables, returns and what VIVO's warranty page states

Cable management is basic and included: two adhesive cable clips for routing the motor and adapter leads under the top, and two hooks that pinch into notches in the side brackets. The manual has you connect the adapter and motor to the control panel before tightening the inner crossbar and the sync rod knob.

The manual says to report any damaged, defective or missing parts within 30 days of delivery for free replacement, and warns that reporting later may mean the replacement is refused. It asks you not to return the item before contacting VIVO's support line.

VIVO's product page for the frame states a 30 day return policy and a 3 year warranty, and the Amazon item details also say three years. Neither page we read breaks that term down by component, so ask VIVO what the motor, the control panel and the desktop are each covered for. The manual adds that returns for items ordered in error are shipped back at the buyer's expense.
