What to check before buying
The blender guides here separate a jar's printed size from the liquid it may actually hold, and quote each manual's rules on hot ingredients. They also check assembled height against cabinet space, which parts the maker allows in a dishwasher, and which containers and accessories work with each motor base.
- Jar size vs liquid limit. The volume on the box is not always the fill line. Guides report 72-ounce pitchers with a 64-ounce liquid limit, a 75-ounce jar with a 32-ounce fill, and a 40-ounce glass jar limited to 3 cups of hot liquid.
- Hot ingredient rules. Manuals differ sharply here. Several rule out hot ingredients in any container, one allows them only in the pitcher with a vented cap, and one guide reports the maker's FAQ and manual giving opposite lid instructions for hot liquids.
- Height under cabinets. Assembled height with the jar on ranges from about 17 to 20.5 inches across the guides, and one maker's page and manual give different heights for the same machine. Measure the gap under your cabinets before choosing.
- Dishwasher and cleaning cycles. The guides quote which parts may go in a dishwasher. Some containers are excluded entirely, others are dishwasher safe, and some makers allow the top rack only or rule out the sanitize setting.
- Containers, cups and blades. Check what fits the base and how the blade sits. Guides list which container families a base accepts, packages that ship without personal cups, and pitchers with a loose stacked blade that the guides say to lift out before pouring without the lid.
This page collects 16 blender guides from Plain Buy Guides. Each guide covers one exact Amazon listing: the maker's published specifications, what the listing says is included, the fit and installation limits that decide whether it suits you, and the main caveat, with every source listed and dated. Nothing here is based on hands-on testing, and no guide promises a price or stock level.
In the table above, the Best for column says who each model suits, and the strength and caveat columns carry the first point each guide makes. Open a guide before buying to confirm the exact model, the included parts and any conflict between the listing and the maker's documents, which each guide reports rather than settles. Side-by-side pages put the published facts of two models from this category in one place.
Compare the published specs
The main figures stated in each blender guide on this page, side by side, with each guide's sources behind them. Units are as published; nothing here was measured by us.
A table scrolls sideways when it is wider than the screen. Select a column heading to sort.
— means the guide does not state that figure. Only single figures in the column’s unit, with no mark, word or note in brackets, are sorted and counted below.
By the numbers
These cover only the 16 blenders on this site, not the whole market. Ranges use the figures the guides state; the lowest and highest link to their guides, and the median is the middle of those figures. A model whose figure is missing, not applicable, more than one, marked, in words, in another unit or qualified in brackets is left out of that line.
- Power across the 15 of our 16 blenders that state one figure: 1,000 W to 1,500 W, median 1,200 W. Lowest: Ninja UltraCrush Professional Blender BP201, 72 oz Pitcher, Charcoal. Highest: Vitamix Venturist Pro, 64 oz Low-Profile Container, Black (Renewed) and 1 other.
- Main container across all 16 blenders: 40 oz to 72 oz, median 64 oz. Lowest: Hamilton Beach Power Elite Blender 58148A. Highest: Ninja BN701 Professional Plus Blender with Auto-iQ and 5 others.

Food storage after prep
If you also need to package portions for the fridge or freezer, compare edge, chamber and mason-jar vacuum sealers. Check pouch and jar fit; vacuum sealing does not replace refrigeration, freezing or canning.
