A large percussion gun with the amplitude published
Amazon lists this as the BOB AND BRAD D6 Pro Massage Gun, with model name, model number and manufacturer part number all given as D6 Pro-C and UPC 860011624486. Bob and Brad's own product page calls it the D6 Pro with SKU BADUSMSG-006 and does not use the "-C" suffix. Quote the code on your own unit if you contact support.
The headline number is one most massage guns in this price band do not publish at all: amplitude. Bob and Brad state 16 mm amplitude on both of their pages and in the Amazon title, along with 85 lbs of stall force. Amplitude is the distance the head travels per stroke and is what separates a percussion device from a vibration device, so having the maker state it is genuinely useful. We have not measured either figure, and stall force across this category is a maker-supplied number rather than a standardised test.
This is a big tool. Amazon's table gives 10.55 x 3.15 x 7.64 inches and 2.79 to 2.8 pounds. Bob and Brad's pages describe commercial-grade materials and a multi-grip ergonomic design, and the Amazon bullet adds a 90-degree rotating arm and a triangular handle; the rotating arm appears in the listing copy rather than in the maker's page text we read.
Battery life: 60 minutes on Amazon, 180 on the maker's site
Bob and Brad's product page says "You can enjoy up to 180 minutes of continuous use" and their feature page repeats "Experience up to 180 minutes of uninterrupted massage therapy". Amazon's own product details field for this ASIN gives "Battery Average Life: 60 minutes".
That is a threefold gap in the figure that decides how often you charge it, and we cannot resolve it from the documents available. The Amazon bullet says only "a high-capacity battery" with "extended run time for multiple sessions on a single charge", with no number, so it does not settle the question either. If long runtime is the reason you are choosing the D6 Pro over something smaller, ask Bob and Brad in writing what the rated runtime is at which speed.
Charging is USB-C. Amazon's details field gives a charging time of 120 minutes and the power source as "Battery Powered, USB-C Fast Charging". Neither Bob and Brad page we read states a charge time or whether a wall adapter is included, so plan on supplying your own USB-C charger.
Six speeds, a force meter, and a ten-minute stop
Both Bob and Brad pages say the D6 Pro has six speeds. The product page adds a detail worth knowing before you buy: "a visually-guided OLED display that lets you monitor speed, force meter, and choose from six personalized speeds." A force readout on the screen is unusual at this size and is the feature that most distinguishes this gun from the cheaper models in the same range.
The Amazon bullet confirms an automatic stop: "Note: 10-minute auto-shutoff included for safety." Neither Bob and Brad page we read mentions it, so the ten-minute figure comes from the listing. Either way, expect the gun to cut out rather than run indefinitely.
On heads, the listing says seven specialised attachments including an "Air Cushion" head for sensitive areas and bony joints. Bob and Brad's product page says the gun "comes with a variety of massage heads made from safe ABS, PU, and silicone materials" without giving a count. We report both and note the count comes only from the listing. A carry case is not named in anything we read, so do not assume one.
Noise is described, never measured
Bob and Brad describe the D6 Pro as using "Ultra-Quiet Technology" and say it operates "at 20% less noise than comparable devices" and with "20% less noise for a tranquil massage experience". The Amazon bullet says proprietary technology "ensures the D6 Pro operates quietly, allowing you to watch TV or converse during use".
No decibel figure appears anywhere in the sources we read, and the 20 per cent claim has no stated baseline: it is not clear which devices it is being compared with, at what speed, or at what distance. We are not going to convert a relative marketing claim into a number, and we have not measured anything ourselves.
If a published dB figure matters to you, this product does not have one. Some other guns in Bob and Brad's own range do publish a decibel claim, and their figures differ between the maker's site and the Amazon listing, so treat category noise claims with care generally.
The manual that comes with it cannot be read as text
The listing attaches a 24-page manual PDF. Every one of those pages is an image with no text layer, so we could not read any of it and we make no claim about what it contains: not the safety warnings, not the parts list, not the head chart, not the warranty text. That is a limitation of this page, not a judgement about the manual.
The listing also attaches a separate 86-page Bob and Brad self-massage ebook, the same document that ships with other guns in this range. It is a collection of body-area protocols rather than a manual for this device. We have not summarised, quoted or paraphrased any of its content.
Whether or not a massage gun's manual lists contraindications, the sensible step is the same: read the printed manual in the box before first use, and if you have any injury, condition, implant or are pregnant, ask a clinician whether percussive massage is appropriate for you. Warranty, eligibility and what to confirm before buying
Bob and Brad's pages both carry the same line: "TWO years extended warranty, and no additional registration is required." The Amazon listing bullet refers to "a comprehensive warranty" without naming a term, and this ASIN has no warranty field in Amazon's product details at all. Two years is therefore the maker's published figure and the listing does not confirm it; get it in writing from Bob and Brad for an Amazon purchase.
Amazon flags the product as FSA and HSA eligible. That depends on your own plan and administrator, not on a listing badge, so check before you count on it.
Three things are worth confirming with the seller before you commit: the actual rated runtime, whether a carry case and a wall adapter are in the box, and the warranty term that applies to the channel you buy through. The two figures Bob and Brad do publish clearly and consistently across both of their pages are the 16 mm amplitude and the 85 lb stall force.
