Bob and Brad Q2 Mini Massage Gun

The Q2 Mini is Bob and Brad's pocket-sized gun: a brushless motor with five speeds that the maker publishes as 1800 to 3000 percussions per minute, five heads, USB-C charging and a 10-minute auto-off. Its weight is stated two different ways - 0.95 lb on Amazon and 1.5 lb on Bob and Brad's own page - and the manual attached to the listing is an unreadable image-only scan.

Strengths

- The maker's own page and the listing give weights that differ by more than half a pound

A pocket-sized gun with two identification codes
Amazon lists this as the BOB AND BRAD Q2 Mini Massage Gun in classic black, with model name Q2 Mini, model number and manufacturer part number QL/MINI.Q2-D and UPC 784104366704. Bob and Brad's own product page calls it the Q2 Mini Massage Gun with SKU SPBADUSMSG-002. Quote the code printed on your unit if you need support.
Bob and Brad describe a small brushless motor with a dual shaft drive structure, five massage heads and five speeds, USB-C charging and a 10-minute auto-off. The Amazon listing adds an ergonomic silicone grip and describes the device as pocket-sized and travel-oriented.
Amazon's table gives the body as 5.75 x 1.81 x 3.39 inches. Neither Bob and Brad page publishes dimensions, so that figure is listing data. Nothing in either source names a carrying case as included, so do not assume one.
Weight: 0.95 lb on Amazon, 1.5 lb on the maker's page
This is the flat contradiction on the product, and it matters because portability is the entire pitch. The Amazon bullet says "Weighing just 0.95lbs, this mini massager is engineered for ultimate travel convenience", and Amazon's table agrees at 15.1 ounces, which is about 0.94 pounds.
Bob and Brad's own product page for the Q2 Mini says: "Weighing just 1.5lbs, it's easy to carry in your gym bag or take anywhere." That is more than half a pound heavier, and 1.5 lb is also the figure Bob and Brad publish for their larger C2 model, so it is not a figure you can simply accept as the mini's.
We cannot resolve it from these documents and we are not going to guess which page is out of date. If the difference between a one-pound and a one-and-a-half-pound device matters for a carry-on or a handbag, ask Bob and Brad for the shipping weight of the gun alone before buying.
Speed is published; amplitude and stall force are not
Both Bob and Brad pages give the same figure: "Choose from 5 speeds (1800-3000 percussions per minute)." The Amazon bullet quotes the top of that range as "speeds of 3000 RPM", so the listing and the maker agree on the ceiling and the maker additionally tells you the floor.
The listing also claims "up to 35lbs of stall force". That figure does not appear on either Bob and Brad page we read. Treat it as a listing claim, and remember that stall force in this category is a maker-supplied number rather than a standardised measurement.
Amplitude — the distance the head travels per stroke, which is what decides how deep a percussion massager feels — is not published anywhere for this model: not on the listing, not on either maker page. We are not going to put a number on something nobody has published.
Charging, runtime and the ten-minute stop
Charging is USB-C, and the Amazon bullet makes a point of it: "Say goodbye to proprietary plugs. This device features a universal USB-C port designed for standard 5V-2A adapters." Bob and Brad's pages say the same thing less precisely, as "Convenient USB-C charging". A wall adapter is not listed as included in either source.
Amazon's details field gives a charging time of 3.5 hours and a battery average life of 2 hours. Neither Bob and Brad page publishes either number, so both come from the listing alone and neither can be checked against a maker document.
The automatic stop is consistent: Bob and Brad's product page says the Q2 has a "10-minute auto-off feature" and the Amazon details field lists auto shut-off among the features. Ten minutes is the longest continuous run before the gun stops by itself.
Noise is claimed on the listing and not on the maker's pages
The Amazon bullet says the Q2 Mini "operates at a low volume (under 45dB), so you can enjoy a relaxing massage while watching TV or in the office without disturbing others". Bob and Brad's product page says only that "the noise reduction technology keeps it ultra-quiet even at max speed", with no figure.
So there is one decibel number and it appears only in the listing copy, without a measurement distance, speed setting or standard. We have not measured anything. If quiet operation is your main criterion, treat the 45 dB figure as unverified.
It is worth noting that across Bob and Brad's own range the published noise figures differ between the maker's site and the Amazon listings for the same gun, so this is a pattern rather than a one-off on this ASIN.
Warranty wording, and the manual we could not read
Both Bob and Brad pages carry the same line: "TWO years extended warranty, and no additional registration is required." The Amazon bullet phrases it differently as "a 2-year customer care promise for total peace of mind", which is not the same wording as a warranty, and this ASIN has no warranty field in Amazon's product details at all. Get the term, and what it covers, in writing from Bob and Brad before you rely on it for an Amazon purchase.
Amazon flags the product as FSA and HSA eligible. That depends on your own plan and administrator rather than on a listing badge, so check before counting on it.
