The headline number depends on which document you read
The listing title and its specification fields put 2000 amps on this unit, listing both amperage and peak output current as 2000 A. Clore's own product page carries that figure only in its browser document title, reading 2000A/450SAA, and never explains it. Its heading, its body text and its specification table all give one starting line instead: 12 Volt Start Assist Amps, 450.
The operator's manual does not resolve it either way. Its specification table lists battery type, capacity, temperatures, recharge input, USB output, DC pin output, indicator and approvals, and gives no amp rating for jump starting at all. Its jump starting output line reads 14.8 volts at 74 watt-hours, which describes the pack rather than a current figure.
What both Clore sources agree on is the engine rating: up to 8 litre gasoline engines and up to 6 litre diesel engines. That is the number to plan around. If the 2000 amp figure matters to your decision, ask Clore what it refers to, because no document we read defines it.
What the box contains, with one item in dispute
Clore's page describes the JNC325 as shipping with a 12 Volt Female Adapter for the DC outlet, an AC charger with USB-C cord, and a pouch for storage. Its feature list adds MaxAccess clamps, 24-inch cable reach, number 6 AWG output leads, an LED state-of-charge display, two USB outlets, a 10-amp DC pin jack outlet and a built-in LED flashlight.
The listing's included-components field gives a different list: the JNC325 itself, a set of heavy-duty clamps, a USB wall charger, a USB-C charging cable and a carrying case. The 12-volt female adapter is missing from that field, even though one of the listing's own bullets says a female adapter is included. Confirm it is in the carton if you want the DC outlet usable out of the box.
Weights also disagree. Clore's specification table says 4.3 pounds; the listing's measurements table says 2.8 pounds. Both carry the same UPC, 010271027125, so this is the same product described twice with two different figures.
What the manual actually specifies
The manual's specification table is the most concrete source here. Battery type lithium ion, battery capacity 14.8 volts at 74 watt-hours, operating temperature minus 10 to 140 degrees Fahrenheit, charging temperature 40 to 140 degrees, recharge input 5 volts at 2 amps or 9 volts at 2 amps for quick charge, USB output 5 volts at 2.4 amps and 5 volts at 1.0 amp, DC pin output 14.8 volts at 10 amps.
Its approvals line reads SGS, conforms to UL2743, which matches both Clore's page and the listing's Specification Met field. The manual lists the built-in protections as reverse polarity, backfeed, short circuit, over voltage and under voltage; Clore's page names reverse polarity, backfeed, over-voltage, short circuit and overheat protection. The two lists are close but not identical.
Chemistry is described three ways across the sources. The manual says lithium ion, the listing's overview panel says lithium polymer, and the listing's manufacturer description calls it a Clore Proformer battery. We are not going to guess which label is the intended one; all three are printed, and the 74 watt-hour capacity is the figure both Clore documents support.
Charging: one charger only, and a six-hour first charge
The manual asks for a minimum six-hour charge when the unit is new, and a recharge every three months, stated elsewhere as every 90 days, when it is sitting unused. Charging runs through the port marked USB-C IN using the supplied cord and AC adapter, and the manual says this method brings the unit to full charge automatically without overcharging.
It is firm about the charger. The manual warns never to use a charger other than the one included, because an incompatible charger could damage the internal battery, and its questions section repeats that a regular 10-amp battery charger must not be used. It also asks you to charge in a well ventilated area.
State of charge is read from four LEDs: one LED is 25 percent, two is 50, three is 75 and four is at or near 100. The manual says to charge soon below 75 percent and immediately below 50 percent, and recommends being at or near 100 percent before using it to start a vehicle. On starts per charge it gives a range of 1 to 20.
The DC outlet, the flashlight, and a voltage worth checking
The DC pin jack is rated at 14.8 volts and 10 amps and is used with the female adapter, and the manual describes it both for running accessories and as a memory saver during a vehicle battery change. The English text gives the port's output as 15 volts DC nominal and 14.8 volts actual.
The Spanish section of the same manual describes that port as 12 volts nominal and 15 volts actual, which is not what the English page says. Both sets of numbers are printed in the one document we read. Check the port marking on your unit, which the manual gives as 15V10A Output, before plugging in anything voltage-sensitive.
The LED flashlight and the USB ports both run off the Status/Power button, with a press-and-hold for the light and cycling patterns from there; the manual sets out the exact presses. USB charging has to be activated with that same button rather than starting the moment you plug a device in, which is worth knowing before you assume a port is dead.
Override, the sealed battery, and how warranty service runs
The override function is the headline feature on the listing, since it lets the unit force output to a battery at 0.0 volts. The manual's own framing is blunter: it states that activating the override removes all safety from the unit, and tells you to verify every connection and confirm that a totally dead battery is the only problem first. The procedure and its cautions are in the manual, and that is where they should be read.
One answer in the manual has long-term consequences. Asked whether the battery can be replaced, it answers no, because the battery connections inside the unit make it impossible. The disposal section says the lithium-based battery must be recycled or disposed of properly, and the service section says only identical original-equipment replacement parts should be used in repairs.
The warranty runs one year from the date of original end user purchase and extends to each person who acquires lawful ownership within that year, voided by abuse, alteration, misuse, or improper packaging that causes damage in return shipping. A failure in the first 30 days goes back to the place of purchase for exchange; from day 31 to day 365 the product is sent to Clore's jump starter repair address in Kansas City. A valid dated sales receipt is required. Clore's page also lists an included repair service coupon for fixed-fee repair after the warranty year, with no terms published.
