FlexiSpot OC3 mesh office chair, Grey (OC3G / OC3B)
Buyers wanting a mesh chair with headrest and sliding lumbar pillow
FlexiSpot's OC3 mesh chair with a height-adjustable lumbar pillow, 2D headrest, button-adjusted armrests and a single handle for seat height and a three-position recline lock. FlexiSpot rates it for 300 lb, but its page and manual disagree on the warranty term, and the listing's seat depth differs from FlexiSpot's.

Fit and limits
Strengths
- Single handle sets seat height and locks the recline in three positions
- Height-adjustable lumbar pillow and 2D headrest per the manual
- 300 lb capacity stated by both FlexiSpot and the listing
Caveats
- Warranty term conflicts: 5 years on the product page, 3 years in the manual
- No seat-depth adjustment; listing and FlexiSpot seat depths disagree
- Manual shows only a height button for the armrests
Which OC3 this is and what is in the box
The listing is the grey mesh OC3, with model number OC3G and manufacturer part OC3B. FlexiSpot's product page for the chair is titled OC3B and offers mesh or foam seats in grey or black, while the mesh manual's cover gives item number OC3MH. All three name the OC3, but check the label on your box against the manual.
The manual's parts page lists the mechanism, backrest, seat cushion, two 2D PU armrests, a nylon base, the gas lift, five nylon wheels, a headrest, a clothes hanger, two L-shaped wrenches and three sizes of screws: six M6x25, three M8x18 and four M6x20.
One handle does height, recline and the lock
According to the manual, you pull the handle up to change seat height. Its rod also slides in and out of its socket: pulled out, the backrest tilts freely; pushed in, it locks in one of three positions. To release a locked back, you lean back and pull on the rod. The drawing shows a 90 to 130 degree range.
A separate knob sets tilt tension, turning clockwise to increase it. The listing's detail table counts four reclining positions and its bullets list 90, 110 and 130 degrees, while the manual describes three lock positions. The manual is FlexiSpot's own document, so ask FlexiSpot if the exact count matters to you.
Lumbar pillow, headrest and arms
The manual labels a height-adjustable lumbar support pillow on the back, and FlexiSpot's specification gives it 1.9 inches of height travel. There is no depth or firmness adjustment named for it. The listing calls the lumbar passive, so if you want a pump or depth control, neither FlexiSpot document describes one.
The headrest height moves freely and its angle has two settings, per the manual; FlexiSpot's page gives 2.1 inches of height and 30 degrees of rotation. The manual shows a button for armrest height and FlexiSpot lists 3.9 inches of travel; its specification calls the armrests 2D without saying what the second movement is. FlexiSpot's specification says seat depth is not adjustable and there is no footrest.
Size and weight figures that disagree
FlexiSpot's specification lists a seat depth of 15.9 inches, a seat width of 20.4 inches and a seat height range of 18.5 to 22.4 inches. The listing gives a seat depth of 21.3 inches and a single seat height of 21.7 inches. If seat depth matters for your leg length, ask FlexiSpot to confirm which figure is correct before you buy.
Both FlexiSpot and the listing put the maximum load at 300 lb. The chair weighs 28.66 lb on FlexiSpot's page and 27 lb on the listing, and FlexiSpot lists a shipping carton of about 26 by 24 by 12 inches weighing 36.74 lb, so plan where you will unpack and assemble it.
Warranty length: 3 or 5 years
FlexiSpot's product specification lists a 5-year warranty. The mesh manual's warranty page says all office chairs carry a 3-year warranty for the chair body and other mechanisms. The two documents disagree, so ask FlexiSpot which term applies to your purchase and keep their answer in writing.
The manual's warranty covers defects in material or workmanship for the original purchaser only, and says only buyers from authorized retailers or resellers benefit. It excludes normal wear, improper installation or maintenance and misuse, and is void if labels are removed or tampered with. Claims go through 1-855-585-5618 with a receipt or proof of purchase date and place.
Where the manual stops
The assembly page of this manual is drawings only and was not interpreted here, so follow the diagrams in the printed copy rather than a summary. The manual's warranty excludes damage from improper installation, which makes following those drawings step by step worth the time.
Neither FlexiSpot document read gives a cleaning method for the mesh or a bolt-tightening interval. The listing's care field says wipe clean. If you need a floor-specific caster or a chair mat, FlexiSpot's product page offers a mat as an add-on but does not state which floors the included nylon wheels suit.
