Fit and limits
Strengths
- About 9.4 pounds with air purge, cruise control and a self-resetting stop switch
- Husqvarna publishes air flow, air speed, noise and vibration figures in its spec table and manual
- Monthly and yearly service steps are laid out in the operator's manual
Caveats
- The 470 CFM headline is above Husqvarna's own 423 to 425 cfm spec figures
- Blow only: no vacuum or mulching kit fits; that is the 125BVX
- Two-stroke engine needs a 50:1 mix and ear, eye and bystander precautions
Which 125B this is: article 952 71 19-25, blower only
The Amazon listing is sold by Amazon.com and gives model and part number 952711925. Husqvarna's own 125B page prints the same code as HUSQVARNA 125B - 952 71 19-25 and describes it as a 28cc handheld blower, and Husqvarna's support page for the 125B opens on article 952711925.
Husqvarna's page says the 125B does not take a vacuum or mulching kit and points buyers who want vacuuming to the separate 125BVX. It lists round and flat nozzle types as included and a harness and vacuum kit as not included. The manual's data table marks the high velocity nozzle as an optional accessory for some models, so check what is in the box against Husqvarna's list when it arrives.
470 CFM in the copy, 423 and 425 cfm in the specifications
Husqvarna's feature text and the Amazon bullets give 470 CFM. The specification table on the same Husqvarna page gives a max air flow at the round nozzle of 425 cfm, and the page's own FAQ repeats 425 CFM at the nozzle. The operator's manual gives 423 cfm, measured in blow mode at the upper tube.
Air speed varies in the same way. Amazon's bullet says 170 MPH, the page's specification table gives 130 mph with the round nozzle, and the manual gives 163 mph with the standard nozzle and 193 mph with the high velocity nozzle. Blow force is 12.5 newtons in the page and the listing; if air volume decides the purchase, plan on the specification table and manual figures rather than the headline.
Engine, fuel mix and weight
Husqvarna gives a 28 cubic centimetre two-stroke engine with 1.1 horsepower output shaft power, rated as net power to ISO 8893, a maximum power speed of 8,000 rpm and a Champion RCJ-6Y spark plug gapped at 0.024 inches. The page gives the tank as 0.5 litres or 18.5 fluid ounces, while the manual gives 0.5 litres or 16.9 fluid ounces.
The manual calls for unleaded gasoline of at least 87 AKI with no more than 10 percent ethanol, mixed 50:1 with an air-cooled two-cycle oil, which it gives as 2.6 ounces of oil per US gallon. It says not to mix more than 30 days of fuel at a time. Weight is 9.4 pounds without fuel on the page and 9.5 pounds in the manual, measured with the tube and standard nozzle fitted.
Noise, vibration and where the manual says not to run it
The manual gives 92.6 dB(A) at the operator's ear to ISO 22868 and 72 dB(A) at a bystander's ear to ANSI B175.2, with a guaranteed sound power level of 111 dB(A); the product page lists 94, 109 and 112 dB(A) for its three noise lines. The manual calls for approved ear and eye protection, says bystanders need eye protection, and says the product is for occasional operation only because of vibration.
It says to keep people and animals at least 15 metres, or 50 feet, from the operator, not to start the product indoors or near flammable material, and not to run it where airflow is unsatisfactory because of the carbon monoxide risk. It also asks users to obey local rules on operating hours. The full safety chapter, including the starting steps and fuel handling rules, is in the operator's manual; read it there before first use.
Starting, stopping and the upkeep schedule
Husqvarna lists air purge for easier starting, a stop switch that resets to the on position by itself, an adjustable tube length and a variable speed throttle with cruise control. The manual adds that after pressing the stop switch you should wait 7 seconds before restarting so the switch can reset.
The manual says its maintenance intervals are calculated from daily use and differ if the blower is not used each day. Its schedule runs from daily cleaning of the air filter and checks of the throttle and stop switch, to weekly starter and spark plug checks, monthly spark plug and air filter replacement, and yearly fuel filter changes. At 125 hours it says an approved service center must repair or replace the muffler. For long-term storage it says to empty the fuel tank, clean the product and remove the spark plug cap.
Warranty terms and what they leave out
Husqvarna's 2026 Warranty Statement covers the original retail purchaser from the date of retail purchase. Its chart gives the Consumer or Residential 100/400 Series Handheld Petrol row 2 years for household use and 90 days for professional use; the chart does not name the 125B itself, so confirm the row with Husqvarna or a dealer.
Service is at an authorized servicing dealer, with proof of purchase showing date, model and serial number, and transport costs fall on the owner; registration is not a condition. The statement excludes normal wear parts such as air filters, spark plugs, fuel filters and starter cords, damage from E15 or E85 or from old or stale fuel, and failure to follow the manual's maintenance, and it does not cover adjustments after the first 90 days.
Common questions

Main caveat to weigh before ordering: The 470 CFM headline is above Husqvarna's own 423 to 425 cfm spec figures.
