The Mega 1 is OUPES's 1,024Wh lithium iron phosphate (LiFePO4) power station. Amazon lists its model and part number as S1, and the OUPES user manual for the Mega 1 carries the document code OPS-S1-N-V1.8 on its cover. This listing is the power station itself; no solar panel is part of this selection.
The manual's box list is the power station, an AC charging cable, a cigarette-lighter-to-Anderson cable and the user manual. OUPES's product page adds a warranty card. The Amazon box bullet also lists an MC4-to-Anderson solar cable, which neither OUPES document includes, even though the manual's solar instructions say to use exactly that cable. Check the carton, and budget for that cable if it is missing.
What the outputs can and cannot run
The manual rates AC output at 120V, 2,000W continuous with a 4,500W surge, and bypass mode at 2,000W. OUPES's page lists four NEMA 5-20R AC outlets. USB-A ports give up to 18W and USB-C ports up to 100W; the page counts four USB-A and two USB-C. The 12V side is the car socket plus DC5521 barrel ports, which the manual rates at 13V, 10A and 130W total.
The manual is unusually cautious about mixing loads. It says not to run high-power devices at the same time as sensitive equipment, to disconnect devices before switching the station on or off, not to use the car port for radios, and not to power medical equipment or precision instruments.
Charging speed: three different claims to reconcile
The manual gives AC input as 90 to 140V, 12A and 1,400W maximum. OUPES's product page lists a fast AC mode of 1,400W with a full charge in about 58 minutes and a slow mode of 700W in about 1.9 hours, and it quotes a 36-minute full charge when AC and solar are combined at 2,200W. The Amazon listing instead says 36 minutes to 80% on AC and 26 minutes with AC plus solar.
These figures do not line up, so plan around the manual's 1,400W wall input and the page's 58-minute figure for AC alone. Car charging is slow by comparison: the manual rates the cigarette-lighter input at 12 to 15V and 8A, and asks you to start the car before connecting.
Solar input goes through one Anderson port, up to 800W
Solar and car charging share one Anderson-style input on the back. The manual's limits are 12 to 78V, with an MPPT range of 18 to 75V, 14A and 800W maximum. For full power it suggests at most three 240W panels in series and says the array must stay within 78V open-circuit voltage, 14A and 800W.
Because the panel side uses MC4 connectors and the station uses Anderson, the MC4-to-Anderson adapter is essential for solar charging. The manual's box list and OUPES's page do not include it, while the Amazon listing does. Confirm your panels' open-circuit voltage against the 78V limit before wiring three in series.
EPS switchover is 20 ms, with a 2,000W combined limit
The manual calls the backup feature EPS, emergency power supply, and says it is on by default with a 20 ms switchover when grid power is cut. It tells you not to connect equipment that needs 0 ms uninterrupted power, and says the total of input and output must stay below 2,000W or the station will shut down within one minute. The listing and product page describe it as under 20 ms.
Other limits worth knowing: the main unit turns off after five minutes without operation, AC and DC outputs switch off after six hours with no load (adjustable in the app), and an AC input overload protector is rated at 25A. The error table lists a system overload code above 2,100VA or 2,100W combined.
Expansion, app, temperatures and warranty conditions
The back panel has an extra-battery port, and the manual says to turn off both units before connecting or disconnecting the expansion cable. The Amazon listing says up to two B2 batteries bring the total to 5,120Wh; the manual pages read do not name a battery model, and an error code warns against connecting the wrong expansion battery. The manual's app page says to download the Smart Control app, while OUPES's page names the Cleanergy app and lists 2.4GHz Wi-Fi and Bluetooth; check the app name before setup.
The manual gives a working temperature of 32 to 104°F (0 to 40°C) and storage from -4 to 140°F. OUPES's spec table gives the same 0 to 40°C but prints it as 30 to 104°F and leaves storage blank, so rely on the manual's figures. OUPES's page states more than 3,500 cycles to 80% capacity and a five-year warranty plus one extra year with registration; the English manual pages contain no warranty terms and say disassembly voids the warranty.
