PETKIT publishes dimensions, weight, a 12V 2A input and a six-month minimum cat age, but no bin volume, entry height or noise figure. Full video playback needs a PETKIT Care+ subscription.

Which box this is, and the two different model codes
Amazon sells this as the PETKIT Purobot Max Pro 2 AI-Camera Self Cleaning Cat Litter Box, and the listing's details block gives the item model number as "Purobot Max Pro 2.0". PETKIT's user manual for the Purobot Max Pro 2 gives a different identifier in its specifications table, product model P9904, and the manual's file name carries a third code, T5-2. No PETKIT document read explains how the three codes relate.
The manual also gives separate part codes for parts and consumables: the standard litter sifter P99022, the honeycomb fine litter sifter P99023 and the high performance cat litter pad MAX P9220. Those codes are printed in the manual's package list and component pages.
The manual's specifications table is short. It lists the model, the materials (ABS, PP, TPE and silicone), the dimensions, the weight, a rated input of 12V 2A, Wi-Fi and BLE connectivity, and a range of application of cats older than six months. No PETKIT document read gives a waste-bin volume, an entry height, a noise figure or a Wi-Fi band.
What PETKIT's package list actually contains
The manual's package list is the one to check against your order. It names the main unit, a trash bag, the user manual, the Pet Odor Eliminator N50 2.0, the honeycomb fine litter sifter P99023 for mineral cat litter, a magnetic cat litter remover, the Pet Odor Eliminator N60 that goes in the smart odor eliminator, and the power adapter.
The manual's component pages add the standard litter sifter P99022, which the manual marks as exclusive to tofu and mixed cat litter, so the two sifters are matched to litter types. The high performance cat litter pad MAX P9220 is described as anti-stick, waterproof, scratch-resistant and easy to clean.
One item appears on the listing and not in PETKIT's package list: the Amazon bullet describes upgraded litter mats made of waterproof Oxford fabric. Neither the manual's package list nor its component diagrams name a floor mat of any kind. If a mat matters to you, confirm with the seller what ships in the carton before ordering.
Size, weight and the numbers the sources disagree on
PETKIT's manual gives dimensions of 21.18 x 25.86 x 23.74 inches (538 x 657 x 603 mm) and a weight of 24.25 pounds, about 11 kg. The Amazon overview table gives product dimensions of 26.77 inches long by 22 inches wide by 25.2 inches high and an item weight of 30.8 pounds, while the expanded details block on the same listing gives 25.87 x 21.18 x 23.74 inches and 30.86 pounds.
So the listing itself carries two different dimension lines, and the weight gap between PETKIT's figure and Amazon's is over six pounds. Neither source says what its figures include, so this page reports all three rather than choosing one; confirm the size with PETKIT before you commit floor space.
The manual states the unit is non-detachable and that you move it by lifting the front side with the handle. It also states there are weight sensors at the bottom of the device and tells you to handle it with care.
Litter, placement and the limits PETKIT prints
The manual sets a limit on litter particle size: the size of cat litter should not exceed 12 mm (0.47 in) in length and 3 mm (0.12 in) in diameter. Filling is done through Maintenance Mode, which rotates the cylinder until the opening faces upward, and the manual cautions that the amount of litter should not exceed the MAX line. A double press on the panel levels the litter.
Placement rules from the safety section are specific. Put the device on a firm, level surface and avoid touching the wall; use it indoors, away from direct sunlight and fire; keep it out of high-temperature or high-humidity environments; use only the original power adapter; do not tilt it; do not rinse or soak the bottom; and do not place anything on top of it or press on the top.
The Amazon listing adds a line of its own: do not place the device on carpets or mats. That wording is the listing's rather than the manual's, which asks for a firm, level surface. The same listing also describes Oxford-fabric litter mats that PETKIT's package list does not name.
The camera, the app and what a subscription changes
This model has to be bound to the PETKIT app before first use. The manual says to connect the device with the app before first use, and that it can only be used after a successful connection. The app homepage gives a live view, a light toggle, a timeline of the day's events and the main function buttons.
The on-device control panel lists Light, Scoop, Deodorize, Maintenance mode, Level cat litter, Empty cat litter, Reset and Connect to the network. The screen also shows status icons for network, toilet times today, child lock and camera, plus prompts for a cat entering, a missing magnetic side cover, a device failure and a full waste bin; the manual says the device pauses and alerts when a cat enters.
Video is where the subscription appears. The manual says timeline highlights play as a sped-up four-second preview and that full playback requires PETKIT Care+. Cloud storage is a rolling loop, illustrated as a seven-day loop in which the eighth day is cleared, and Care+ can be transferred to another PETKIT PUROBOT MAX PRO once per year and is non-refundable once purchased. Privacy controls include turning the camera off, custom camera time slots, a live-area blur, and separate off switches for Pet Visit Detection and Pet Toileting Video. The same section mentions a five-minute live stream without saying what sets that limit.
Cleaning burden, who may use it, and the warranty
The cylinder and the litter sifter are brushed and rinsed, the litter pad is wiped with a wet towel and not scrubbed vigorously, and the main unit is wiped with a wet tissue. The main unit, the fisheye camera, the proximity sensor and the smart odor eliminator must not be rinsed or soaked. Removing the cylinder is a multi-step procedure in the manual, using the magnetic litter remover and the app's Empty function; follow it there. The manual names cleaning agents not to use and says when the sifter and pad should be replaced, and the app tracks the N50 and N60 and asks you to reset them after replacement.
PETKIT's safety instructions state that kittens younger than six months and cats weighing less than 1.5 kg are prohibited from using the device, and the specifications table repeats the six-month floor as the range of application. The Amazon listing gives a range of 3.3 to 17.6 pounds and older than six months; the 17.6-pound upper limit appears nowhere in the manual, so confirm it with PETKIT before buying for a large cat.
On warranty, the Amazon bullet says after-sales service is upgraded to two-year coverage. PETKIT's Limited Warranty Policy sets a standard one-year limited warranty from the date of delivery and a 2025 upgrade to two years for named models including Purobot Max Pro/2, for units purchased on or after 1 January 2025 from petkit.com or authorized US distributors; for third-party purchases the seller's own return and exchange policy applies instead. Replacement parts or products continue the original period, and exclusions include unauthorized distributors, normal wear and consumables, animal bites, transportation damage, user modification and non-PETKIT accessories.
