Pro Breeze PB-02 Electric Mini Dehumidifier
A wardrobe, small bathroom or RV with mild damp
A thermoelectric Peltier mini dehumidifier rated at about 9 ounces of water a day at 86°F and 80% humidity. No compressor, no refrigerant, no filter and no drain hose: you empty a roughly pint-sized tank by hand. Its own sources give four different tank sizes and four room sizes.

Strengths

Caveats
- About nine ounces a day at 86°F: far too little for a basement or a damp whole room
- No continuous drain and no pump, so the tank must be emptied by hand every day or two
- Tank size and room coverage are each stated four different ways across its own sources
This is a Peltier unit, and that decides everything else
The manual is direct about it on its first content page: "This dehumidifier uses Peltier Technology (no compressor) making it lightweight and quiet." A thermoelectric module chills a small plate, moisture condenses on it and drips into a tank. There is no compressor, no refrigerant, no defrost cycle, no humidistat and no fan speed to change — just an on/off switch, a green power LED and a yellow full LED.
The manual says it suits small rooms and poorly ventilated areas such as wardrobes, cabinets and storage rooms that are prone to damp odours and fungus. Pro Breeze's page widens that to small bedrooms and bathrooms prone to window condensation or mould spots, and calls it ideal for small spaces with mild damp problems. Neither describes it as a basement machine.
It runs from an external DC power adaptor rated 9 V, 2.5 A. Pro Breeze's comparison table lists energy consumption as 0.023 kW·h and the Amazon table says 21 watts, while the listing bullet says 23 watts. That is a small appliance by any of those numbers.
About nine ounces a day, and only in a warm room
The manual's specification line is the one to plan around: operating capacity of approximately 250 ml (9 oz) per day at 30°C (86°F) and 80% humidity. Eighty-six degrees with eighty percent humidity is a hot, wet room. In a cool bedroom you should expect less, and the manual gives no figure for any other condition.
Nine ounces is roughly half a pint. For scale, the 20-pint and 50-pint machines elsewhere in this category are rated at twenty to a hundred times that. This unit is for a wardrobe, a caravan locker or a small windowless bathroom, and buying it for a damp basement will disappoint you.
Pro Breeze's own description says "up to 8.45 ounces of moisture per day" while its comparison table on the same page says a maximum extraction of 9 ounces. The listing bullet says 9 ounces. The difference is trivial in practice, but it tells you how loosely these figures are maintained.
Four sources, four different tank sizes
The water tank is described four different ways across documents that all describe this one product. The manual says a maximum tank capacity of 500 ml (18 oz). Pro Breeze's comparison table says 16 oz. Pro Breeze's own description on the same page says 16.91 ounces. The Amazon title says 17 oz, its bullet says a 16-ounce tank, and its spec table lists Capacity 16 fluid ounces alongside Tank Volume 17 fluid ounces.
We are not going to pick one. The useful takeaway is that the tank holds somewhere around a pint, and at nine ounces of extraction a day you will be emptying it every day or two in a genuinely damp space. When it fills, the LED turns yellow and the unit switches itself off; you switch it off at the button, pull the tank out gently, empty it and slot it back.
There is no continuous drain option, no hose connection and no pump described anywhere in the manual or on the maker's page. Emptying by hand is the only way water leaves this machine.
Room size is quoted four ways too
The manual's cover calls it a "500ml (1100ft³) Mini Dehumidifier". Pro Breeze's product title says 1200 cubic feet (205 sq ft), and its comparison table says a maximum room size of 107.6 to 215.2 square feet. The Amazon title says 215 sq ft, its bullet says 1200 to 2200 cubic feet (215 sq ft), and its own Item Type Name field says 1200 cubic feet (150 sq ft).
The middle of that range is a room of roughly 100 to 215 square feet with a low ceiling — a small bedroom, a bathroom, a walk-in closet or an RV. Treat any figure at the top of that spread as optimistic.
Physical size is also disputed: Pro Breeze gives 6 by 6 by 8.5 inches, Amazon gives 4 inches deep by 8 wide by 6 high. Both agree on 2.4 pounds, so it is a thing you can pick up with one hand and move between rooms.
Temperature limits, and what happens outside them
Pro Breeze's comparison table gives a working temperature of 59 to 95°F. The Amazon bullet says the optimal operating temperature is 59 to 86°F and that it will not work below 41°F, and Amazon's spec table lists an Upper Temperature Rating of 30°C, which is 86°F. The manual states only the 86°F test condition and gives no range.
Peltier units lose output as the room cools, because the cold plate has less of a temperature difference to work with and there is no compressor to force the issue. Below about 60°F, expect the collection rate to fall off steeply whatever the label says.
The manual's warnings are short and worth following: switch the unit off at the button when it is not in use, keep the power adaptor out of wet or damp places and in a well-ventilated spot, keep the front air inlets and top air outlets clear, and always keep the unit upright to avoid leaks.
Cleaning, warranty and what is not in the box
There is no washable filter and no filter schedule. The manual's entire cleaning section says to switch the unit off, unplug it and use a soft cloth to gently clean dust or debris from the outside of the unit and the air inlets. The listing's own care bullet says the same thing in different words: clear the dust intake valves regularly to prevent blockages and maintain airflow.
The manual has no warranty section in the English pages. Amazon's warranty description field says Pro Breeze offer a full 12-month warranty and points you to their customer service team. Pro Breeze's own product page sells a separate three-year protection plan as an add-on, which is a purchase rather than the standard cover, and its warranty registration page did not list the terms in a form we could read.
One last identity note: Amazon's Model Name field is PB-02 and the Part Number is PB-02-US, while Pro Breeze's own page carries SKU PB-02-NA-4-FBA. Amazon's Model Number field is filled with the words "Pro Breeze Dehumidifer", which is not a model number at all. Check the label on the unit and the seller and condition of the offer you select before making a warranty claim.
