Matching the listing to Sihoo's model
The listing's title calls this the Sihoo Doro C300, and its attached user guide is for model DORO-C300L-A3. Sihoo's own store sells the black standard C300 as SKU DORO-C300L-A3-001, so the manual and the maker page line up. The listing's model-number field, A3-C500, does not appear in any Sihoo document read, and several bullets call the chair A3.
Sihoo sells the C300 in black or white and in a standard or footrest version. This listing is the black chair without a footrest. If the box or manual that arrives does not read DORO-C300L-A3, contact the seller before you assemble the chair.
Lumbar and recline that adjust themselves
Sihoo says the C300's lumbar support adjusts itself without any manual adjustment, and describes a smart weight-sensing chassis; the listing calls it a gravity mechanism. There is no lumbar knob or tension dial described in the English manual pages read, so if you want to set lumbar depth or recline resistance by hand, neither Sihoo document read describes a way to do it.
The manual's controls are simple: lift the handle to change seat height, pull the handle out to choose between three recline angles, and push it in to lock. The listing gives those angles as 92, 100 and 112 degrees; the English manual pages give no degree figures, so treat the listing's numbers as the seller's.
Backrest, headrest and arms
The backrest moves up or down in four positions, per the manual, and Sihoo gives a back lifting range of 18.11 to 21.65 inches. The listing adds that after the highest step the back drops back to the first level. The headrest lifts and swivels; the listing gives 4.5 cm of height, 6.5 cm fore and aft and 20 degrees of angle.
Sihoo calls the armrests 4D coordinated: up and down, left and right, forward and back, with a tilt linkage. The manual lists height, inward and outward rotation, and forward and back movement. Sihoo describes the armrests as PU coated, and the seat and back as mesh.
Size, load and seat depth
Sihoo's specification gives the chair as 28 inches wide and 28 inches deep, 42 to 49 inches tall, with a maximum load of 330 lb and a weight of 50.93 lb. The listing's capacity field of 150 kg is consistent with that. The manual's cover gives 70 by 70 by 107 to 128 cm.
Seat depth differs: Sihoo lists 18.11 inches, while the listing gives 16.54 inches and a seat height of 18.9 inches. Sihoo also gives a maximum hip width of 20.28 inches. If depth or hip width matters to you, confirm the correct figure with Sihoo before you buy, because the two sources do not agree.
Assembly and early fixes from the manual
The parts list includes one spare of every screw size, a T-wrench, a hex spanner and a pair of gloves. The manual asks you to sort the screws by length before starting. It also says the gas lift must not be disassembled; read the manual's full safety list rather than relying on a summary.
The manual's help page covers common early problems: if the chair creaks, check that every part is tight and send Sihoo a video if the noise persists; if the backrest or arm shakes, reinstall or tighten it; if the new chair smells, leave it in a ventilated room for two to three days.
Who gets the full 3-year warranty
Sihoo's page and the listing both state a three-year warranty. Sihoo's warranty policy says coverage applies to purchases from its official US website, while buyers from third-party platforms should contact that seller or provide valid proof of purchase for limited warranty coverage. Keep your Amazon order details and ask Sihoo what limited means for you.
The policy covers manufacturing defects, structural failures under normal use and mechanical issues not caused by misuse. It excludes intentional damage including improper disassembly, misuse, normal wear such as fading or pilling, sunlight or chemical discoloration and non-Sihoo parts. Claims go to Sihoo support with photos or video and your order number.
