The Amazon listing gives a maximum of 250 pounds in both its bullets and its details table. Staples' product page rates the chair for up to 275 pounds based on an 8-hour workday. The manual's warranty section says its terms are based on up to 3 to 5 hours of continual use in 24 hours, for users weighing up to 275 pounds, or 124 kilograms.

So the two Staples documents agree on 275 pounds but not on daily hours, and the listing is lower on weight. If you weigh more than 250 pounds or plan full workdays in the chair, ask Staples how the warranty applies to your use before buying, because the manual ties coverage to 3 to 5 hours a day.

What you can adjust

The manual puts the seat-height handle under the right side of the seat and the tilt-lock handle under the left: pull it up, set the back angle you want, and push it down to lock.
