A lock with a doorbell camera built in
The eufy Security Video Smart Lock E330 is a Wi-Fi deadbolt with a fingerprint scanner, a keypad, a keyed cylinder, a doorbell button and a 2K camera with an f/1.6 lens. This listing's model number is T8531, which is the model the eufy user guide names for the E330 without a chime; eufy's page and the listing share UPC 194644175634.
The guide says the E330 has 8 GB of built-in local storage, and eufy's FAQ says recordings are stored locally in that 8 GB eMMC, with cloud features sending data as needed. The listing and eufy's page note that notification thumbnails are held temporarily in the cloud. eufy describes infrared plus radar motion sensing and AI human detection.
Storm doors and door fit
The user guide states that the E330 is not compatible with storm doors, and gives the reason that a storm door may block the camera. Check this first if your entry door sits behind a storm door.
The guide lists a backset of 60 or 70 mm, a door thickness of 35 to 55 mm, a cross bore of 38 or 54 mm, a 25.4 mm door hole and a minimum distance of 45 mm. eufy's FAQ lists wood or metal doors and a handleset figure of more than 150 mm. The guide says a round latch hole needs a round faceplate from eufy Support. We do not reproduce installation steps.
Battery, charging and the USB-C port
The E330 runs on a 10,000 mAh rechargeable battery. The guide says to fully charge it before first use, which can take 6 to 8 hours, and recommends a 5 V/2 A adapter; USB-C input is 5 V 2 A. eufy's comparison table lists battery life as 3 months, and the FAQ says you get a low-battery notification below 10 percent.
The two eufy documents describe the outside USB-C port differently. The user guide says it charges the lock in emergency situations and is solely for charging, with no data transfer. The product page says the emergency power port lets you unlock with a portable charger and cannot be used to charge the battery. Two physical keys are included.
Weather rating and certification
eufy's product page gives an IP65 rating and an operating range of -22°F to 158°F. Its comparison table qualifies the IP65 rating as applying to the camera part.
The listing and eufy's comparison table give ANSI/BHMA Grade 3, and the product page describes the lock as BHMA certified. We report these ratings as eufy states them and do not interpret them.
App, voice and integrations
The guide warns the lock may fail to be added in the app if its battery is not charged. eufy's page describes remote view with app notifications, and eufy lists Alexa and Google voice assistant support and a countdown auto-lock.
eufy's FAQ says the E330 is not yet compatible with Apple HomeKit, IFTTT or Matter, and that HomeBase 3 supports up to 16 TB with drives not included. The listing names eufy Chime, Chime 2, HomeBase 3 and eufy cameras and doorbells as compatible, sold separately.

eufy's product page describes a 12-month warranty with support by telephone, email and live chat. We did not read eufy's warranty terms page, so check its conditions before relying on them.
