What you are buying: a frame, not a desk
The HNESD52B is HUANUO's black dual-motor electric standing desk frame; HNESD52W is the white version, and the manual covers both. HUANUO's page says plainly that it is frame only. You supply the desktop, and the manual's diagram marks the desktop as not included.
HUANUO's page and the listing both give a 265 pound load capacity. The listing's bullet words this as a minimum load of 265 pounds and says the frame passed 50,000 full-load tests; that testing claim appears in the listing only and we have not checked it.
The Amazon listing's included components are the frame, an under-desk cable management tray and two hooks. Its details also give an item weight of 41 pounds, a figure we did not see in HUANUO's page text or the manual pages we read.
Which desktops fit
The manual's recommended desktop sizes are 43.3 to 89.8 inches long, 23.6 to 31.5 inches deep and at least 0.6 inches thick. HUANUO's page gives the same length and depth range and says the frame's adjustable width runs from 42.1 to 69.2 inches.
HUANUO suggests wood, MDF or particle board for the desktop. For fitting the legs at the bottom, its page says the suitable screw thread pitch is M8.
Measure the top you plan to reuse against those figures before ordering, including the 0.6 inch minimum thickness. The desktop is not included, and the manual lists a drill or Phillips screwdriver among the tools needed.
Height range, speed and controls
Both HUANUO's page and the manual give a height adjustment range of 28.3 to 47.2 inches (72 to 120 centimetres). The manual lists a maximum speed of 25 millimetres per second, operating noise of 55 decibels or less, and power input of 100 to 240 volts. The listing adds that a full lowest-to-highest move takes about 20 seconds.
The controller has an S button, three preset buttons and up and down arrows. The manual tells you to reset the frame before first use, and describes a power-saving screen mode. Settings let you switch the display between inches and centimetres.
HUANUO's page describes a 51.2-inch motor connection cable so the control panel can sit on either side of the desk. The listing describes a 51.2-inch length as the power cord that lets you place the controller on one side.
Collision sensitivity, overheating and error codes
The manual lets you set collision detection to off, light, normal or heavy, with light the most sensitive and normal the factory setting. It asks you to keep the desk clear of obstacles and walls and to leave cables long enough for the full travel.
There is an overheating limit. The manual says that after five minutes of continuous motor running the frame stops and shows Hot, and that you should wait at least 15 minutes before adjusting the height again.
Other codes in the manual include E10 for a sensor fault, E31 and E32 for input voltage too low or too high, E60 for unequal leg heights, an overload warning, and a dash for a cable disconnection. The manual's own table is the place to look up each one.
Assembly and the tools question
The manual's tools-needed panel lists a drill or a Phillips screwdriver as needed and marks them not included. The Amazon details, however, say all necessary tools are included and recommend a screwdriver.
The listing says one person can assemble it. HUANUO's page describes a cable management tray, and the listing names an under-desk cable management tray and two headphone hooks among the included components.
HUANUO's page describes the frame as automotive-grade steel with dual motors, and the listing adds that there is no drive shaft between the legs. We did not read the manual's assembly pages and do not describe the steps.
Warranty and who this suits
HUANUO's product page shows an up to 5-years warranty badge and links to a separate warranty information page, which we did not read. The listing's warranty fields say only limited warranty, and neither source we read states the term for this frame specifically.
Alongside that warranty badge, HUANUO's product page also lists free shipping from the USA, secure payment and 30-day free returns. Those are HUANUO store terms, so check the seller and return terms of the offer you select on Amazon.
The HNESD52B suits someone who already has a desktop between 43.3 and 89.8 inches long and wants a dual-motor frame with three presets and adjustable collision sensitivity. It suits you less if you want a complete desk in one box or need heights outside 28.3 to 47.2 inches.
