Fit and limits
Strengths
- Manual prints the exact speed for each of the four riding modes
- Spare inner tube, fender, bolts and tools are in the box, per the manual
- App handles locking, ride data, ambient lighting and cruise control, per isinwheel
Caveats
- Rated motor power is 600 watts; 1000 watts is the maximum figure
- Battery, charger and hub motor assembly are covered for only six months
- Manual and maker page give different operating temperature ranges
The motor is 600 watts rated, 1000 watts maximum
The listing title and bullets lead with 1000 watts. isinwheel's own specification table is more precise: the motor is 600 watts rated with a 1000-watt maximum, and the manual's specification page simply says motor power 600 watts.
Everything else in the drivetrain matches across the three sources. The battery is 48 volts and 13 amp-hours, the charger puts out 54.6 volts at 2 amps and takes six to seven hours, and the top speed is 28 miles per hour. isinwheel lists climbing ability at 30 percent or less.
The manual's display page sets out the four modes with their North American speeds: walk mode up to 9 miles per hour, E up to 15, D up to 22 and S up to 28. Its display also carries a motor overheating alarm, a cruise control indicator, a Bluetooth app icon and a lock symbol for app locking.
Range, weight and the 264-pound limit
The manual's specification table gives a range of 35 to 38 miles and adds that the figure was measured in a laboratory at full battery and varies with load, humidity, wind speed and riding habits. isinwheel's page says up to 38 miles, and its FAQ repeats that this is under ideal conditions and varies with terrain, mode and rider weight.
Weight is 60.4 pounds in the manual and on isinwheel's specification table, and 60.5 pounds in the listing details. Maximum load is 264 pounds, or 120 kilograms, in all three sources, and the manual's note recommends loading it to 70 percent of that maximum, about 185 pounds.
isinwheel's FAQ says the scooter suits riders from 4 feet 3 inches to 6 feet 3 inches tall, and the manual gives a recommended age of 14 and up. The deck is 7.3 inches wide, per isinwheel.
Size and fold
The manual and isinwheel's page agree on the unfolded size, 50.8 by 24 by 50.8 inches, or 129 by 61 by 129 centimetres. The listing details table repeats the same three numbers.
Only the manual gives a folded size: 50.8 by 24 by 21.7 inches, or 129 by 61 by 55 centimetres. So the fold drops the height from 50.8 to 21.7 inches while the length and the 24-inch width stay as they are.
The frame material is described two ways. isinwheel's specification table says aluminium alloy and the listing bullet calls the chassis high-density aluminium alloy, while the listing's details table says magnesium alloy. Ask isinwheel if the frame material matters to you.
Water rating, temperature and brakes
Both the manual and isinwheel's specification table give an IPX4 water resistance rating. isinwheel's warranty page excludes damage from prolonged exposure to rain and from submersion, which is the practical limit on riding in the wet.
The two documents disagree on temperature. The manual's specification page gives an operating range of 28.4 to 95 degrees Fahrenheit, while isinwheel's specification table says 14 to 104 degrees Fahrenheit, and neither explains the gap between them.
Braking is front and rear disc brakes on isinwheel's page and in the listing bullet, which adds an electronic brake. The listing's details table lists the brake style as front braking only, which does not match the rest. isinwheel also lists battery protection for temperature, overload and water.
What comes in the box, and what does not
The manual's package contents page lists the scooter, handlebar mounting bolts, a rear fender, fender mounting bolts in two types, a spare inner tube, tools, the charger, and the user manual with safety instructions. The listing details table names the same items and adds a warranty card.
A spare inner tube in the box is worth noting, because isinwheel's warranty page names inner tubes, wheels, the drive belt and the accelerator as consumable items that the warranty does not cover.
The app is called isinwheel Club. isinwheel's specification table lists the lock method as the app and marks cruise control and zero-start as present, and the listing bullet adds anti-theft locking with wheel resistance and deck ambient lighting. The AirTag-ready bell mount appears as a separate upgrade on isinwheel's page, not as an included part.
Warranty: six months for the battery, motor and charger
The listing says a one-year warranty. isinwheel's warranty page splits it by component: the battery charger, battery pack, wheels and hub motor assembly and control board assembly are covered for six months, while a long list of components subject to wear is covered for 12 months.
That 12-month list includes the deck, forks, stem, dashboard, handlebar, throttle, electronic brake, grips, headlight, fenders, brake light, kickstand and covers. Freight during the maintenance period is paid by the owner, per isinwheel's wording.
The exclusions are broad: products from unauthorised retailers, modification, misuse or not following the manual, overloading, tricks, hitting curbs or walls, prolonged rain, submersion, over-accelerating or over-decelerating, exceeding the maximum speed, and taking hills too quickly. Contact isinwheel before returning anything, since returns sent straight to the warehouse can attract a restocking fee.
