The product manual's specification table is headed Ninebot KickScooter Max G2, model 051501U, which is the same part number the listing's details block gives. That means the figures below come from the maker's own document rather than from listing copy.
The headline numbers: approximately 47.6 by 22.4 by 49.8 inches, folding to 47.6 by 22.4 by 23.8 inches, a net weight of about 53.5 pounds, a maximum payload of 265 pounds, a maximum slope of roughly 22 percent, an IPX5 rating and 10-inch tubeless self-sealing tires at 42 to 48 psi.
The motor is stated twice: nominal power 0.45 kilowatts, or 450 watts, and maximum power 1 kilowatt, or 1000 watts. The listing bullet quotes only the 1000-watt figure, so if you are comparing against another scooter's continuous rating, use 450 watts.
Speed and range are published mode by mode
The manual gives three speed modes with a range for each: about 9 miles per hour in Eco for roughly 43 miles, about 16 miles per hour in D mode for roughly 31 miles, and Sport at about 20 miles per hour as shipped for roughly 28 miles. Enabling higher speed in the Segway-Ninebot app raises Sport to about 22 miles per hour and drops range to roughly 25 miles.
That is why the listing can advertise both 22 miles per hour and 43 miles without either being wrong. They are just not available at the same time. The manual's theoretical range is the Eco figure, and its own table pairs each speed with a smaller range as the speed rises.
The battery behind those numbers is 36 volts nominal, 15.3 amp-hours and 551 watt-hours, with a maximum charging voltage of 42 volts and a charging ambient range of 32 to 104 degrees Fahrenheit. The charger is built into the scooter, model NB-42D0-02D9, taking 100 to 240 volts.
A legal warning the maker prints in the manual
The manual carries a long warning about state law. It says that in certain US states an electric kick scooter may not be used on public roads if its maximum speed capacity, weight or other features do not meet mandatory requirements, and it names New York, Florida, Arizona and New Jersey as examples of states that cap maximum speed capacity.
Its instruction is practical: if you intend to ride on-road in such a state, you must select a lower speed mode so the scooter's maximum speed under that mode complies, and if even the lowest mode exceeds the cap you should not ride it on-road there.
Segway attaches a disclaimer that this is not legal advice and that checking the law is the rider's responsibility. Read the section yourself before buying if you live somewhere with a speed cap, because the ability to raise Sport mode to 22 miles per hour through the app is exactly what those rules are written about.
Certification is backed by a test report, not just a badge
The manual states the product is certified to ANSI/CAN/UL-2272, that the battery complies with UN/DOT 38.3 and that the battery complies with ANSI/CAN/UL-2271. Those three lines are the certification claims as the manual prints them.
The listing also attaches a test report. A TUV Rheinland test report numbered CN229MF4 001 runs to 57 pages against ANSI/CAN/UL-2272:2016, and its marking-plate page names models 051501A and 051501U, the second of which is the model on this listing.

Riding behaviour, temperatures and one age contradiction
The manual's dashboard page explains some start-up behaviour worth knowing. With a starting speed of 1.86 miles per hour set, the scooter powers up in Parking mode showing P and will not accelerate until you squeeze the brake or push it past that speed. Walk mode is capped at 3.1 miles per hour, and cruise mode needs the app enabled, a speed above 3.1 miles per hour and a five-second throttle hold.
Temperature limits are published in three places and are worth noting for a garage: operating 14 to 104 degrees Fahrenheit, storage 14 to 122 with 50 to 86 recommended, and battery charging 32 to 104. The Important Information document adds that if storage is below 32 degrees you should not charge until the scooter has warmed above 50.
Rider age is the one contradiction across these documents. The specification table and the listing both say 16 years and over with a required height of 3 feet 11 inches to 6 feet 6 inches, while the Important Information document says the scooter can be used by children aged from 14 to 60 years. Neither document explains the other, so treat 16 and over as the figure the product specification actually sets.
The service schedule is real work, and it is chargeable
The manual's recommended maintenance schedule runs on four intervals: every three months, every six months or 310 miles, every year or 621 miles, and every three years or 6,214 miles. It states plainly that this maintenance schedule charges a service fee, so budget for it rather than assuming it is free.
The items are specific. Tires inflated to 42 to 48 psi and checked for cracks or wear, torque values for the handlebar, throttle, brake lever, stem and folding mechanism screws, a brake adjustment, and a brake test standard of stopping within six metres from 12.4 miles per hour. At three years or 6,214 miles it says abnormal parts have to be replaced immediately.
Two conditions affect what you will pay later. The battery is described as needing replacement after 500 charge and discharge cycles or once total mileage passes 6,214 miles, with a charge every 60 days during long storage, and the documents state that damage from over-charge or over-discharge is not covered by warranty. The Important Information document also says that modifying the scooter or using non-original parts results in loss of all product warranty. The listing's field says a two-year limited warranty and refers you to a warranty manual that was not among the documents attached.
