What this is, and what the case actually holds
Amazon lists this as the Lifepro Sonic LX Percussion Massage Gun, item model number LP-SNCLX-BLU, manufacturer LifePro, first listed in December 2020. The listing page carries a size selector offering Pro, Standard and LX; this record was taken with the LX size and the Blue colour selected, and nothing was read for the Pro or Standard versions.
The manual's What's in the Box panel lists five things: the Sonic LX itself, ten massage head attachments, a charging adapter, the Sonic LX case and a USB-C cord. Lifepro's product page repeats the travel case and the ten heads in its key-features list, so the case is confirmed by both documents rather than by the listing alone.
The manual names all ten heads: Bullet, Flat, Rounded Hexagon, Heated Tip, Shovel, Absorber, Spinal, Round, Metal Cone and Metal Flat. Two of them fit differently. The manual says the shovel and spinal attachments have a raised notch on the stem that must be lined up with the cutout on the nozzle.
Nine speeds, and the frequency table the manual prints
The manual prints the whole speed ladder. The nine levels run 15, 20, 25, 30, 35, 40, 45, 50 and 55 Hz, and the matching RPM figures run 1,800, 2,000, 2,200, 2,400, 2,600, 2,800, 3,000, 3,200 and 3,400. Its quick-start page says pressing Speed + starts the gun at level 1, which is 15 Hz.
The specification panel gives a no-load speed of 1800 to 3400 RPM, which lines up with the ends of that table, and an amplitude of 12 mm. Lifepro's product page lists the same RPM range and the same 12 mm amplitude, so the two maker documents agree on all three figures.
The manual also gives a decibel rating of 60 to 65 dB, and Lifepro's page repeats it as quiet 60-65 dB operation. Neither document states the distance, speed level or test method behind that figure, so it is a maker claim with no stated test conditions.
The gun and the heated tip charge differently
The gun's own pack is a 24 V DC lithium-ion battery rated at 2000 mAh, and the manual says it charges from the supplied charging adapter plugged into the port at the base of the handle. The manual's plate rating for that adapter is 100-240 V input at 50/60 Hz and 25 V DC at 1 A out.
The heated tip is charged separately through its own USB-C port on the underside of the head. The manual says to plug the USB-C end of the included cord into that port and the other end into a 5 V 2 A or 1 A adapter or a computer USB port. A red LED flashes while it charges and a green LED shows when it is full.
Charging times differ between the first charge and later ones. The manual asks for a first charge of up to three hours, then says the Sonic LX takes about 90 minutes afterwards, with full charge shown when the battery LEDs stop flashing and stay lit. Run time is given as an average of three to four hours, varying with the speed level used.
Where the listing and the maker's documents disagree
Four discrepancies turned up between the Amazon listing and the two Lifepro documents, and neither document explains any of them. Confirm each with Lifepro before you buy on the strength of a listing figure.
First, size and weight. The listing's detail bullets give 11.25 x 6.5 x 2.62 inches and 2.3 pounds; the manual's specification panel and Lifepro's page both give 11.5 x 2.8 x 6.6 inches (29.2 x 7.1 x 16.8 cm) and 2 pounds (0.91 kg). Second, battery life: the listing bullet says up to 4 hours per charge, while the manual and the product page both say three to four hours and add that it varies by speed.
Third, charging. The listing bullet says the gun is powered by USB-C, but in the manual the USB-C cord charges the heated tip and the gun itself charges from the adapter rated 25 V DC. Fourth, naming: the manual says Sonic LX, while Lifepro's page is headed Sonic LX Professional Percussion Massage Gun and its browser title reads Sonic LX Pro, even though its published specifications match the Sonic LX manual exactly.
Operating limits, heat and the care routine in the manual
The manual sets a duty limit on the device itself: do not operate it continuously for more than 30 minutes, then let it rest for at least 30 minutes before using it again. It also states that the device is intended for in-home use only and is not to be used in a commercial, rental, institutional or therapeutic setting.
The heated tip is switched on by pressing and holding the on/off button on the underside of the head, and the manual says it takes a few minutes to reach its full temperature of 131 degrees Fahrenheit. That figure appears in the listing title, in the manual and in Lifepro's key-features list. The manual carries a burn warning for the tip; read it there in full.
Care is short. The manual says to wipe dirt or moisture from the unit with a soft towel or cloth and to store the Sonic LX in its case. It also states that the battery inside the handle is not replaceable or removable and that its screws must not be removed, so there is no user battery swap.
A lifetime warranty with a 14-day registration step
The manual's warranty page says Lifepro puts a lifetime warranty on all of its products: if the product breaks, Lifepro will send replacement parts and show you how to repair it, and if it cannot be repaired the company will replace it free of charge. The product page lists the lifetime warranty among its key features.
There is a condition attached. The manual says to register the Sonic LX at soniclx.lifeprofitness.com to activate the warranty within 14 days of purchase, and the quick-start page repeats the same 14-day window next to a QR code. Neither document read here says what happens to a claim if that window is missed, so register promptly and keep the confirmation.
The product page also states a risk-free 30-day return policy as Lifepro's own statement. The manual carries an FCC Part 15 Class B statement, a Canadian licence-exempt RSS statement, and a disclaimer that the product is not a medical device. Its safety instructions and contraindications live in that manual; read them there rather than relying on any summary.
