The guide's parts list is a pitcher lid with pour spout, a 72-ounce Total Crushing pitcher, a Stacked Blade Assembly and a motor base with attached power cord. Amazon's included list matches, and its bullet adds a 10-recipe quick start guide. Both the guide and the listing mark the pitcher's maximum liquid capacity as 64 ounces.

The guide describes the unit as for household use only. Its technical specifications give 120 V, 60 Hz and 1200 W. Amazon's details give the dimensions as 7.76 by 8.15 by 17.44 inches and the weight as 8.18 pounds.

Controls: one Auto-iQ program and three manual speeds

The guide's control panel shows Power, Low, Med and High, a Crush button and a Pulse button. Crush is the Auto-iQ program, which the guide describes as a preset combining blending and pausing patterns that starts immediately and stops automatically when done; pressing Crush again stops it early. SharkNinja describes Crush as for ice, tough ingredients, smoothies and frozen drinks.

Low, Medium and High each run continuously for 60 seconds once selected, according to the guide, and do not work in conjunction with the Auto-iQ program. Pulse runs only while the button is pressed.

The guide says that if the pitcher is not properly installed, the lights flash and the motor stays disabled. It tells you never to defeat that interlock.

The stacked blade is loose in the pitcher

The guide says the Stacked Blade Assembly is loose and not locked into the pitcher. It says to pour through the spout only with the lid locked, or otherwise to remove the blade by the top of its shaft before pouring. The lid has a RELEASE button.

The guide's limits include: do not blend hot, effervescent or carbonated liquids; do not fill past the MAX FILL or MAX LIQUID lines; do not operate the blender empty; do not process or grind dry ingredients with the pitcher and Stacked Blade Assembly; and do not microwave the container. The guide's assembly steps put the blade into the pitcher before any ingredients, and it says not to add ingredients before the blade is installed. Follow the guide's own assembly steps rather than a summary, since the blade is not locked in place.

Overheating and reset

The guide's safety list says a thermal switch temporarily disables the motor if it overheats, and to unplug and let it cool for approximately 30 minutes before using again. Its Resetting the Motor section says to unplug, let the unit cool for approximately 15 minutes, then remove the lid and blade and make sure nothing is jamming them. We report both figures.

The same section says the most typical cause of an overload is exceeding maximum capacities, so keep to the 64-ounce liquid line.

The guide says the supply cord cannot be replaced and to contact SharkNinja if it is damaged, and that extension cords should not be used. For storage it describes a cord wrap on the back of the motor base.

Cleaning: top rack, no heated dry

The guide says all parts except the motor base are top-rack dishwasher safe and should not be cleaned with a heated dry cycle. Remove the blade assembly from the pitcher before it goes into the dishwasher, as the guide asks.

For hand-washing, the guide says to use a utensil with a handle. The motor base is wiped with a damp cloth, without abrasives, and the safety list says not to submerge it.

For storage, the guide says to keep the unit upright with the blade inside or attached to the container and the lid locked, and not to stack items on top of the container.

Registration and the one-year limited warranty

The guide asks you to register the product at SharkNinja's registration site within 10 days of purchase, giving the store name, date of purchase and model number. It says registration lets SharkNinja contact you in the event of a product safety notification.

The guide gives a one-year limited warranty from the original purchase date for purchases from authorized retailers of SharkNinja Operating LLC, covering the original owner and product and not transferable. SharkNinja will repair or replace under the warranty; a replacement unit is covered for six months or the rest of the original warranty, whichever is later.

Exclusions include normal wear of wearable parts such as blending vessels, lids, blades and bases; tampered or commercially used units; damage from misuse or failing to maintain the unit; unauthorized repairs; and products bought or used outside North America.
