A countertop oven documented under a series name
The DT201 is the Ninja Foodi XL Pro Air Oven: an 1800-watt, 120-volt countertop convection oven with ten functions and four rack positions. Amazon lists it as model DT201 from SharkNinja, measuring 17.09 inches deep, 20.22 wide and 13.34 high and weighing 33.6 pounds, with a 21-litre capacity.
The owner's guide attached to the listing is titled DT200 Series and never prints DT201. SharkNinja's own support FAQ for the DT200 Series says it supports SKUs DT201, DT200, DT201C and DT202BK, which is what ties this model to the series guide. The guide says the model and serial numbers are on a QR code label on the base.
The listing also carries a second PDF labelled User Guide. Its file is tagged as a DT251 quick start guide, a different model code, so we did not use it. Rely on the DT200 Series owner's guide and SharkNinja's support pages when you check anything about this oven.
What is in the box, and where the guide hedges
Amazon's bullet lists the oven, two sheet pans, two wire racks, an air fry basket, a roast tray, a crumb tray and the DT200 Series owner's guide. The guide's parts page shows the same set but adds that an additional sheet pan is not available on all models, without saying which ones.
The same hedge applies to functions. The listing names ten: Air Fry, Air Roast, Bake, Whole Roast, Broil, Toast, Bagel, Dehydrate, Reheat and Pizza. The guide notes that Dehydrate and Reheat are not included on all models. Count the pans and check the function list on the control panel when your oven arrives.
SharkNinja's FAQ gives the interior as 14.47 inches wide, 12.72 deep and 11.08 high, and both the sheet pan and roast pan as 13.5 by 11.5 by 1 inch. It recommends using only Ninja oven accessories, and the guide says the oven is for countertop use and never outdoors.
Power and placement: its own outlet and a clear surround
At 1800 watts, SharkNinja's FAQ says the oven must be plugged into an outlet on a 15-amp breaker and be the only appliance plugged into that outlet while it runs. The guide adds no extension cord and never an outlet below counter level. Amazon gives the cord as 91.44 centimetres, so plan the spot near a counter-height socket.
The guide asks for at least 1 inch of space above and on all sides for air circulation, and a level, clean and dry countertop away from the edge and from gas or electric burners. Nothing may sit on top while it runs except authorised Ninja accessories, and its vents must not be covered.
Two more rules are easy to miss. The crumb tray must stay installed below the lower heating elements, never in a rack slot, and foil must not cover the crumb tray or any part of the oven. The guide's fire and other safeguards are longer than we can repeat here, so read that page before first use.
The functions and their ranges
The guide and FAQ agree on the ranges. Whole Roast, Air Roast and Air Fry run 250 to 450 degrees Fahrenheit for up to four hours; Bake and Pizza start at 180 degrees; Reheat runs 100 to 450 degrees; Dehydrate runs 85 to 200 degrees for up to 24 hours; Broil is HI or LO for up to 30 minutes.
Toast and Bagel take up to nine slices, set by slice count and a shade level from 1 to 7 rather than by time and temperature. The guide says the oven does not preheat for Reheat, Dehydrate, Broil, Toast or Bagel, and that it shuts itself off after 10 minutes of inactivity.
Amazon's bullets claim a 90-second preheat, up to 30 percent faster cooking and up to 10 times the convection power of a full-size oven. Neither the guide nor the FAQ repeats those figures, and the FAQ says the preheat cycle does not reach the full target temperature before cooking begins, so treat them as listing claims only.
Cleaning: which parts go in the dishwasher
The guide asks for a clean after every use. For deep cleaning, it says the sheet pan and roast tray can soak overnight in warm soapy water. Abrasive cleaners, scrubbing brushes, chemical cleaners and metal scouring pads are ruled out anywhere on the oven.
Only the air fry basket and wire racks may go in the dishwasher, and the guide warns they may wear more quickly there. The sheet pan, roast tray and crumb tray are not dishwasher items, so plan on hand-washing the pans after every roast.
The guide also suggests an empty run on Air Roast at 450 degrees for 20 minutes to burn off residues before first use. To cut smoke it recommends canola, refined coconut, avocado, vegetable or grapeseed oil rather than olive oil, butter or margarine.
Normal behaviour the FAQ flags, and the warranty gap
SharkNinja's FAQ lists several things as normal: steam around the door and condensation dripping onto the counter with moist foods, a cooling fan that keeps running after power-off until the oven drops below 95 degrees, and a sheet pan that may warp while hot and flatten again once cool.
If a pan stays warped after cooling, the FAQ says to call customer support. The guide's troubleshooting page says a display reading CALL CUSt SrVC with Er0 to Er3 means switching the oven off and calling customer service rather than attempting a fix yourself.
The warranty pages of the owner's guide are not in the PDF attached to this listing, and we did not read SharkNinja's warranty terms. Amazon's warranty field says one year limited. Confirm the length and conditions with SharkNinja before relying on it, and keep your receipt with the model and serial numbers.
