What the FO101 is and what comes in the box

The FO101 is Ninja's French Door Premier countertop oven: 1800 watts on 120 volts, and ten functions. The owner's guide is written for the FO100 series and states it supports the FO100, FO101 and FO101C; its control-panel page notes that Dehydrate and Reheat are not on all models, and the FO101 panel includes both.

SharkNinja's product page lists the box as the oven, a 5-quart air fry basket, a sheet pan, a broil rack, a wire rack, a removable crumb tray and a recipe book with 15 recipes. The guide notes the crumb tray arrives already installed. The Amazon title says 20.3 quarts while its capacity field says 5 quarts; the 5-quart figure is the air fry basket, which the listing says fits up to 5 pounds of fries.

SharkNinja gives the size as 16.53 by 15.79 by 13.48 inches and 22.77 pounds; Amazon lists 15.8 deep by 16.53 wide by 13.48 high. The guide says the model and serial numbers are on a QR code label on the base, which is worth noting before you need to make a claim.

Dishwasher safe? The owner's guide says hand-wash

This is the biggest gap between the marketing and the manual. The Amazon bullets call the air fry basket, sheet pan, wire rack, broil rack and crumb tray dishwasher-safe, and SharkNinja's page repeats dishwasher-safe parts. The owner's guide says all accessories are hand-wash recommended and states: do not put the sheet pan, broil rack or removable crumb tray in the dishwasher, because finishes may degrade.

The guide's parts page is just as specific: the broil rack, sheet pan and crumb tray are marked hand-wash only, and the air fry basket and wire rack hand-wash recommended. Its cleaning page repeats that the sheet pan and crumb tray must not go in the dishwasher.

If a dishwasher is the reason you are choosing this oven, follow the guide rather than the listing. The guide also says the main unit must never be immersed, so plan on wiping it down by hand.

Where it can go: 1 inch of air, no extension cord

The guide asks for at least 1 inch of space above and on all sides for air circulation. It is for countertop use only, not near the counter edge, and nothing should sit on top while it runs.

The guide's power rules are specific. Safeguard 7 says do not use an extension cord, and safeguard 8 says never to use an outlet below counter level. The FAQ explains a tripped breaker: at 1800 watts the oven must be on a 15-amp circuit and should be the only appliance plugged into that outlet.

Two more notes from the FAQ help set expectations. The cooling fan may keep running after you switch off until the unit drops below 95°F, which the guide calls normal. Holding the light button for 5 seconds restores the default settings, per the same FAQ.

Function limits: 450°F, two hours, and two rack levels

Whole Roast, Air Roast, Air Fry, Bake and Pizza each run from 250 to 450°F for up to 2 hours. Reheat covers 100 to 450°F for up to 2 hours. Dehydrate runs 100 to 200°F for up to 12 hours. Broil has only HI at 450°F and LO at 400°F, for up to 30 minutes. Toast and Bagel use shade 1 to 7 with no temperature setting. The oven switches itself off after 10 minutes of inactivity.

There are only two rack positions, and the guide says a wire rack and the crumb tray must always be installed under any accessory. Air Fry and Dehydrate stack the basket on the sheet pan on the wire rack at the bottom level; Toast and Bagel use the wire rack on the top level. The guide's own slice counts differ: the function list says toast up to 9 slices or 9 bagel halves, while the step-by-step pages say up to 6.

For Whole Roast, the guide describes a 5-pound chicken with sides or a 12-pound turkey on its own. The listing and product page say the oven cooks with no rotating required for Bake, Pizza and Whole Roast.

The 90-second preheat claim and the guide's 10-minute note

The listing and SharkNinja's page both advertise a 90-second preheat. The guide's FAQ adds context: during preheating the unit will not reach the intended cooking temperature, it preheats to a level where it can start cooking, and it may take up to 10 minutes to reach the set temperature as the cook continues.

Dehydrate, Broil, Toast and Bagel do not preheat at all, per the step pages. For the functions that do preheat, the timer starts counting only once preheat is done, so the total time is longer than the time you set.

Before first use, the guide recommends running Air Roast at 450°F for 20 minutes with all accessories inside and no food, to burn off residues. For smoke later on, it suggests a Toast cycle on shade 7 with accessories removed, and gives a short list of oils it recommends to reduce the chance of smoke.

Warranty: one year, with a return-shipping fee

SharkNinja's page and the guide both give a one-year limited warranty. The guide's terms cover the original owner only, for purchases from authorized retailers, under normal household use. SharkNinja repairs or replaces defective units at its discretion; a replacement unit is covered for six months from receipt or the rest of the original term, whichever is later.

Wear parts such as racks and pans are excluded, as are commercial use, misuse, repairs by unauthorized people and products used outside North America. Claims start by phone with the receipt as proof of purchase. SharkNinja covers the cost of sending the unit in but charges a fee, stated in the guide, to ship the repaired or replacement unit back, so check the current figure before you claim.
