A blender, food processor and slicing disc on one base
SharkNinja sells the TB401 as the Ninja Detect Professional Blender and Food Processor with BlendSense Technology. Its In the Box list names one 24-ounce single-serve cup with a spout lid and Hybrid Edge blades, a 64-ounce food processor bowl with a feed chute lid and pusher, a chopping blade, a dough blade, a reversible slicing and shredding disc and a spindle, alongside the 72-ounce pitcher.
The reversible disc and feed chute mean the kit covers slicing and shredding as well as blending and chopping. The listing's included-components field names the 24-ounce cup twice, while SharkNinja's box list and the listing bullets both describe one cup. Expect a single cup unless your box says otherwise, and check the contents when it arrives.
BlendSense and the 10 manual speeds
SharkNinja describes BlendSense as automatically adjusting speed and time for each blend. The maker's specification block lists six automatic programs and fourteen manual programs, without naming each one on the page we read, and we did not read the Owner's Guide, so this page does not describe how each program runs.
For manual control, both sources describe variable speed with 10 settings, and SharkNinja says this is available only with the 72-ounce pitcher. The listing also says the single-serve cup has liquid detect. The maker page we read does not describe liquid detect, so treat it as a listing claim until you see it in the Owner's Guide.
Capacity: 72-ounce pitcher, 64-ounce liquid limit
The pitcher is sold as 72 ounces, and the listing marks 64 ounces as its maximum liquid capacity. The processor bowl is described as 8 cups in the listing bullets and as 64 ounces in SharkNinja's In the Box list, which are the same volume in two units. The listing says the processor can handle up to 2 pounds of dough.
If you mostly make large batches of smoothies or frozen drinks, size recipes to the 64-ounce liquid line rather than the 72-ounce headline. The single-serve cup is 24 ounces. The pitcher is also sold separately as part 190KKU300, which SharkNinja lists as compatible with TB300, TB300C, TB301, TB301C, TB400, TB400C, TB401 and TB401C.
Power: 1,800 peak watts and 1,200 running watts
The headline figure on both the listing and SharkNinja's page is an 1,800-peak-watt motor. SharkNinja's specification block lists two separate ratings: wattage 1,200 watts and peak wattage 1,800 watts, at 120 volts and 12.5 amps. The listing's details table also shows 1,200 watts alongside the 1,800 peak-watt title, which matches the maker's two labelled figures.
SharkNinja lists a cord length of 31.5 inches, so plan to keep the base within that distance of an outlet on the counter. The maker page we read does not say whether an extension cord may be used, so check the Owner's Guide that ships with the unit before relying on one.
Size and weight figures that do not agree
The listing gives the unit as 6.88 by 8.38 by 17.5 inches and 14.09 pounds. SharkNinja's specification block lists 18.11 by 11.81 by 18.7 inches and a weight figure many times the listing's, and does not say whether its figures describe the packed kit. We are not repeating that maker weight figure; confirm size and weight with SharkNinja before planning around either source.
For cabinet planning, remember that the kit includes a pitcher, a cup and a processor bowl plus a disc, spindle and several blade assemblies, and neither source gives storage dimensions for the full set. Measure the space you have against the larger dimensions before you decide where the kit will live.
Cleaning and warranty basics
SharkNinja's specifications list the TB401 as BPA free and dishwasher safe, and the listing adds that the containers, lids and blades are top-rack dishwasher safe. Neither page we read gives hand-washing steps, how to clean the disc, or how to care for the motor base, so follow the Owner's Guide that ships with the unit.
Both the maker page and the listing state a one-year limited warranty. We did not read the warranty text itself this session, so this page does not describe what it covers, what it excludes, or how claims are handled. Check the warranty section of the Owner's Guide to confirm the terms that apply to you.
