Reolink Lumus Pro 4K Wi-Fi 6 Plug-In Camera
A plug-in outdoor or indoor spot near an outlet where local recording without fees matters
The Lumus Pro is a small mains-powered 4K camera with dual-band Wi-Fi 6, an F1.6 lens, infrared and spotlight night view, and person, vehicle and animal detection that Reolink says needs no monthly fee. Reolink rates it IP65 from 14 to 131 degrees Fahrenheit. The listing and Reolink disagree on the largest microSD card it accepts, and on its size and weight.

A small plug-in camera, not a battery one
The Lumus Pro is a compact, cube-shaped Wi-Fi camera that runs from mains power. Reolink's specification sheet lists a DC 5.0V 1A input through a DC power port and says nothing about a battery, and the listing's power table describes a corded electric source with an integrated power cable and a DC barrel jack.
That means placement is decided by where you can run a cable. Reolink's product page describes it as suitable indoors or outdoors and says you plug it into any nearby power source. Before buying for an outside wall, check that there is a suitable outlet within reach of the mounting spot.
The listing's in-box row names what is in the box: one media adapter, one camera and one user guide. Reolink's sheet shows a bracket, a reset hole and a microSD card slot on the camera body. A microSD card is not included; the listing's storage bullet says so directly.
Picture, night view and the frame rate
Reolink gives the sensor as a 1/2.7 inch CMOS at 3840 by 2160, which it calls 8 megapixels, recording at 15 frames per second by default in H.265. The lens is 2.8 mm at F1.6 with an IR cut filter, and the specification sheet states a field of view of 106 degrees horizontal and 56 degrees vertical.
Night viewing uses six 850 nm infrared LEDs, which Reolink rates for up to 10 meters, or 33 feet. The listing also describes dual LED spotlights. The listing's A+ block rates the spotlight at 1.6 W, 6500K and 180 lumens; Reolink's own specification sheet does not give a spotlight output figure.
Frame rate is described three ways. Reolink's sheet states 2 to 20 frames per second with 15 as the default, the listing's table says 15 by default and 20 maximum, and the listing's A+ block says 2 to 15. None of them explains the different ranges.
Storage: 512GB from Reolink, 256GB from the listing
This is the clearest disagreement on the page. Reolink's product page and its specification sheet both state support for a microSD card of up to 512GB. The listing's storage bullet and its A+ block both say up to 256GB, while one listing table row says 256GB and the row beneath it says 512GB.
Neither the listing nor Reolink explains the difference, and we cannot tell you which card the camera you receive will accept. If you want to use a card larger than 256GB, confirm support with Reolink for this model before buying the card, and keep the receipt.
Beyond the card, Reolink lists storage on a Reolink Home Hub, on Reolink PoE or Wi-Fi NVRs, and on your own FTP or NAS server. Recording can be motion-triggered, which is the default, scheduled, or continuous around the clock. Reolink's page says the smart detection features come without any monthly fees.
Detection, alerts and who can watch
Reolink lists motion detection plus person, vehicle and animal detection, with push and email notifications and adjustable sensitivity. The product page says the spotlights and a siren can activate when suspicious activity is detected, and that their activation times can be scheduled. The listing adds that detection zones can be customised.
The specification sheet allows a maximum of 20 users, one admin and 19 others, and up to 12 simultaneous streams, two main and ten sub streams. Viewing is through the Reolink app on iOS and Android, or on a PC running Windows or Mac OS, and in the Edge, Chrome, Firefox or Safari browsers.
For smart speakers and displays, Reolink's sheet lists Google Assistant compatibility only. The listing's Controller Type row says Amazon Alexa. Reolink's product page describes viewing on Google Nest Hub and Chromecast-enabled TVs and does not mention Alexa, so confirm Alexa support with Reolink if that is the reason you are buying.
Network, weather and physical size
The camera connects over dual-band Wi-Fi at 2.4GHz and 5GHz, which Reolink lists as IEEE 802.11 ac/ax/a/b/g/n, with WPA, WPA2 and WPA3 security. Setup uses Bluetooth pairing. The specification sheet also lists RTSP, ONVIF and FTP among the supported protocols.
Reolink rates the Lumus Pro IP65 and gives an operating range of minus 10 to 55 degrees Celsius, or 14 to 131 degrees Fahrenheit, at 20 to 85 percent humidity. The listing's Water Resistance row says only water resistant. If your winters regularly drop below 14 degrees Fahrenheit, this camera is outside its stated range on those nights.
Reolink gives the camera as 99 by 91 by 60 millimetres and 168 grams. The listing's measurements row says 3.9 by 7.52 by 2.36 inches and 1.23 pounds, which does not match the maker's figures, and neither source explains the difference. Check the size with Reolink if a tight mounting spot depends on it.
Warranty, and why the seller matters
Reolink's specification sheet states a two-year limited warranty. Reolink's warranty policy page adds that new products outside its Professional Series can receive an extra six months when registered, and that the warranty period begins on the date of delivery.
The same policy says the warranty applies only to products bought through authorized Reolink channels, which it lists as its own store, authorized agents, distributors, retailers and offline stores. For products bought from third parties, it tells buyers to contact that third party for warranty service. Check who the seller is on the listing before you order.
The exclusions include damage from installation, drops, power outages or electrical accidents, extreme temperatures or severe weather, and products that have been painted or tampered with. Refunds through Reolink are limited to purchases from its own online store within 30 days of delivery; purchases elsewhere go back to the original seller.
