A two-stage, frame-only base for tops up to 77 inches
The DESK-E-200B is a black steel frame with two motorised legs and no desktop. VIVO recommends a top 40 to 77 inches long, 23 to 43 inches deep and at least three quarters of an inch thick. The frame itself adjusts from 40 to 57.3 inches long, so the top overhangs the feet on longer builds.
VIVO describes the legs as two-stage telescopic columns with dual thermal motors, overload and heat protection. The assembly manual lists the package contents and the extra screws, and the crossbars fit with their tabs facing outward, per its first step.
Height range and what two stages mean for you
VIVO's product page and the Amazon bullets give a frame height of 28.5 to 47.3 inches, and VIVO lists a lift speed of 25 millimetres per second with a 100 to 240 volt input. The listing's own wording describes the speed as one inch per second. Your top's thickness adds to both ends of the range.
The older control panel manual says the default limits are 28.8 inches minimum and 47.3 inches maximum and that you can narrow them, which is useful if children or shelves are nearby. Taller users who stand at more than about 47 inches of desk height should compare this range with their elbow height before buying.
Two different control panel manuals come with this listing
The listing supplies two documents. The 2026 assembly manual shows one controller: collision force detection with off, low, normal and heavy settings, a child lock, and error codes E10, E20, E02, E31, E32, E60 and HOT. It gives the weight capacity as 220 pounds, and its E20 overload code uses the same figure.
The 2023 control panel manual shows a different menu: separate sensitivity levels from 0 to 5 for its sensors, adjustable minimum and maximum heights, a desktop thickness offset and its own EX and R code series. Check which controller arrives in your box and follow the matching document.
Assembly needs a drill for any holes that are not pre-drilled
The assembly manual lists a Phillips screwdriver and a drill as tools you supply. Step one attaches the crossbars to the legs with their tabs facing outwards; the frame and the control panel then screw to the underside of your top.
For holes your top does not already have, the manual gives a depth of 0.4 inches with a 1/8 inch bit. The extension cable runs to the leg furthest from the control panel. The older control panel manual says to reset before first use.
Overheat and reset routines
Both manuals say to wait eighteen minutes after the HOT overheat code before moving the desk again. The assembly manual's reset starts by unplugging the desk for ten seconds, and it describes the memory keys as saving within a window of about three seconds.
The E02 code stops the desk on a collision; the older manual says the desktop retracts about five centimetres, roughly two inches, when a collision is detected. Both manuals describe a child lock, shown as LOC on the newer controller.
Warranty is a badge on VIVO's page; parts claims have a deadline
VIVO's DESK-E-200B page shows a three-year warranty badge and a thirty-day return policy. The Amazon warranty field only says limited warranty, and neither manual we read prints warranty terms or exclusions. Ask VIVO for the written terms if coverage length matters to your decision.
The assembly manual asks you to report damaged, defective or missing parts within thirty days of delivery and warns that later reports may be denied free replacement. Return shipping for items ordered in error or no longer needed is at the buyer's expense, according to the same page.
