A very wide top on a single motor frame
DESK-KIT-2E84B combines VIVO's DESK-V102E single motor frame with the DESK-TOP84-30B top. VIVO's product page lists the frame type as electric single motor with three-stage telescopic legs and a touch-screen controller with four memory settings. The Amazon title does not say how many motors, but its included components field names a single motor frame.
The frame manual's package contents show one motorised leg, one plain leg and a sync rod that drives the second leg. That matters on an 82.7 inch top: one motor lifts the whole surface. The frame is rated for 220 pounds on the product page, the listing and the manual.
The 83 inch top comes in three panels
VIVO lists the top at 82.7 by 29.5 inches and one inch thick, in particle board. The top manual's package has a left, middle and right panel, twelve wooden dowels, four connecting brackets and two support brackets. You push the dowels into the middle panel, press the side panels on and screw the brackets across the joins.
So the surface has two seams. The top is pre-drilled for VIVO frames; for other frames the top manual gives 0.4 inch deep holes with a 7/64 inch bit. The top manual warns against overloading the desktop and says to stay within the frame's weight limit.
Height range and speed
VIVO lists a height range of 24.8 to 50.4 inches, a maximum speed of one inch per second and a power input of 110 to 240 volts. The Amazon listing repeats the range. The frame manual does not print a range, so confirm on the display once assembled.
The low end suits shorter users and seated typing, and the high end covers tall standing users. Because the top is almost seven feet wide, check the room you have side to side as well as the height, and allow space for the feet at each end.
Four presets, child lock and adjustable collision sensing
The touch controller saves a height when you hold a memory button until H1 to H4 appears. Holding 1 and 3 switches inches and centimetres, holding 1 and 2 locks the controller, and holding 1 and 4 opens collision force detection with off, low, normal and heavy settings. Holding 3 and 4 changes brightness.
The E02 code means vibration, collision or incline was detected. The HOT code appears after five minutes of continuous running and the manual asks you to wait at least eighteen minutes. E20 is overload against the 220 pound, 100 kilogram capacity, which matches the rating elsewhere.
Assembly steps and tools
The frame manual lists a Phillips screwdriver and a drill as tools you supply; 2 mm and 5 mm Allen wrenches are included. You fit crossbars to both legs with the metal tabs pointing away from the legs, add side brackets and feet, then fit the sync rod following the manual's steps.
With the top assembled face down, the frame is screwed to it along with the control panel, per the manual's order. For non-VIVO tops the frame manual gives 0.4 inch pilot holes with a 1/8 inch bit. The motor cable and power cable plug into the control panel.
Warranty and parts claims
VIVO's product page shows a three-year warranty badge and a thirty-day return policy, and the Amazon warranty description field also says three years. Neither manual prints warranty terms or exclusions, so ask VIVO for the written terms if coverage by component matters to you.
Both manuals say missing parts must be reported within thirty days of delivery or free replacement may be denied. Return shipping for items ordered in error or no longer needed is at the buyer's expense. Warranty terms are deferred to VIVO's website.
