The Cordless Pulse 3100 is Waterpik's WF-20 series handheld rechargeable flosser, listed on Amazon as model WF-20CD010 in white and described as an Amazon exclusive. Other colours are separate options. Both Waterpik documents we read cover the WF-20 series; the one attached to the listing also covers the WF-21 series.
The listing says the box holds one JT-450E Precision tip, one TC-100E Tongue Cleaner tip and a USB-C to USB-A cable, with no wall adapter. We found no Waterpik product page for this model, so the 6-ounce reservoir, the 45 seconds of flossing time and the 2.5 by 11.75 by 3.75 inch size are listing figures only.
Two pressure settings and how the switch works
A single slide switch on the handle turns the unit on and sets pressure, Low or High. No source we read gives a pressure in PSI or a flow rate for this model, so there is no figure to compare with countertop units.
The instructions say to keep the tip in your mouth while the unit is on, and to remove the tip when finished. They also ask you to use it no more than five minutes in any two-hour period, a limit printed in the listing's manual.
Up to nine weeks per charge, and two different charger specs
Waterpik's instructions and the listing say a full charge lasts up to nine weeks of typical use, and both manuals say to charge for about four hours before first use. The battery is lithium-ion and not replaceable. Waterpik's current instructions describe a flashing white light for low battery and a solid red light when depleted.
The two manuals disagree on the charger. The one attached to the listing asks for a USB-A wall charger rated 5.0V at 1.0A maximum. Waterpik's own instructions give a rated input of 5.0V at 3.0A maximum and describe a USB-C wall charger, safety certified to IPX4. Neither includes the charger, so check the label on your unit and use an adapter that meets it.
Shower use: what the listing says and what the manuals say
The listing says this flosser can be used in the shower and that the manual's do-not-use-in-shower symbol applies only if it appears on the product's labels or packaging, which it says it does not for this item. Both manuals list that symbol among ones that may appear, alongside IPX7 or IPX4 ingress codes, without saying which applies to this unit.
Both manuals say never to immerse the unit in water. Check the markings on the handle and box before taking it into the shower, since the manuals list the shower symbol without saying whether it applies. The listing's claim rests on the absence of that symbol from this item's labels.
Tips, cleaning and temperature limits
Waterpik's instructions say to replace the Precision tip and Tongue Cleaner every six months, and orthodontic, Pik Pocket and Plaque Seeker tips every three months. The reservoir pulls off for cleaning and is top-rack dishwasher safe; Waterpik recommends air drying rather than a heated cycle and cleaning the reservoir weekly. Do not immerse the handle.
The manual attached to the listing gives a descaling routine for every one to three months; follow its printed proportions. Waterpik lists operating temperatures of 5°C to 40°C and charging temperatures of 5°C to 35°C, plus storage figures, in its own instructions.
Two-year limited warranty, tips excluded
Both manuals give a limited two-year warranty to the original consumer against defects in materials and workmanship, with the original receipt and, if asked, the whole product. Water Pik will replace the product at its discretion if it was not abused or altered and was used only with approved accessories. Tips and other consumables are excluded.
The battery is not replaceable, and Waterpik's instructions say it does not guarantee the availability of replacement parts or repair services. The instructions include a binding arbitration clause.
