Aipas M1 Pro and M2 Pro Fat-Tire Electric Bike Two-Pack

Two bikes in one listing: a step-through and a step-over

This listing is a pair: the selected option is an M1 Pro in cyan and an M2 Pro in black. Both share an 1800W rear hub motor with 110 Nm of torque, a removable 48V 17.5Ah battery, a 100 mm front fork, a rear shock, 180 mm mechanical disc brakes with metal pads, a Shimano seven-speed drivetrain and 26 by 4.0 inch tyres.

The difference is the frame. The M1 Pro is a step-through, and the M2 Pro is a traditional step-over. Aipas's geometry tables give the M1 Pro a stand height of 19 inches and the M2 Pro 30 inches, with the same 35 to 39 inch seat-to-floor range. That makes the pair suited to two riders of different heights, not two riders of the same height by default.

Aipas's M2 Pro page says each e-bike ships separately and may arrive at different times. Each arrives 90 percent pre-assembled per the listing; Aipas's M1 Pro box list is the charger, headlight, two battery keys, two pedals, toolkit and manual.

Who fits which bike

The listing recommends the M1 Pro for riders 5 foot 5 to 7 foot 2 and the M2 Pro for 5 foot 8 to 7 foot 6. Aipas's height tools say 5 foot 5 to 7 foot 0 for the M1 Pro and 5 foot 8 to 7 foot 0 for the M2 Pro, while the M2 Pro FAQ says 5 foot 8 to 7 foot 6. The lower limits agree; the upper limits do not.

For the shorter rider in a household, the M1 Pro's 19-inch stand height is the more forgiving frame, but both bikes have a 35-inch minimum seat-to-floor height. Measure inseams against that figure before ordering, especially for anyone near 5 foot 5.

Weights differ slightly. The listing and both manuals give the M1 Pro at 88 pounds and the M2 Pro at 90 pounds; Aipas's product pages give 79 and 81 pounds net. Each package weighs 114 pounds according to the manuals, so plan on two people for each box.

The UL 2849 certificate lists much lower speed and load

Both product pages link the same SGS certificate of compliance, number SGSNA/25/SZ/00407, effective 29 September 2025, issued to AIPAS BIKE LLC under ANSI/CAN/UL 2849. It names models M1, M1 PRO, M1 MAX, M2, M2 PRO and M2 MAX with a 48V 17.5Ah battery, and says certification is valid when the product appears in SGS's directory.

Its technical data give a maximum speed of 32 km/h, about 20 mph, and a maximum load of 85 kg, about 187 pounds. Aipas's product pages advertise 36 mph and a 500-pound capacity; both manuals list 28-plus mph and 500 pounds; the listing says 500 pounds. We report the documents and do not explain the gap.

Ask Aipas in writing whether the certificate applies to each bike at the speed and load you intend to ride, and check the SGS directory yourself. The certificate gives a charging range of 0 to 40 degrees Celsius and an operating range of 0 to 45 degrees Celsius.

Speed, range and charging claims

Aipas's pages say both bikes can reach 36 mph or higher at assist level 5, the manuals say 28-plus mph, and the certificate says 32 km/h. No source we read assigns either bike a US e-bike class. Check local rules for both riders before using the higher assist levels on shared paths.

Range is up to 85 miles with pedal assist and 36 miles electric-only on Aipas's tables. The M1 Pro manual's performance disclaimer calls range and top speed estimates rather than guarantees, so plan on the electric-only figure.

Each 48V 17.5Ah battery, which works out to 840Wh, is rated IP65 and weighs 9 pounds according to Aipas, with an SGS UL 2271 battery report linked. Aipas lists a 2A smart charger for each bike; no charging time is stated in what we read. Two bikes means two chargers and two batteries to manage.

Brakes and suspension are the Pro-level parts

Both bikes in this set use mechanical disc brakes with metal pads on 180 mm rotors. Aipas's comparison table on the M2 Pro page lists the Pro models' rear suspension as hydraulic, while the Max versions get an adjustable air shock.

The front fork has 100 mm of travel. The manuals give a tyre pressure of 20 psi for both, the listing describes assist levels 0 to 5 and a USB port, and the M1 Pro manual's display diagram shows light, blinker, horn and USB controls.

Warranty terms apply to each bike separately

Aipas's M1 Pro manual gives a one-year warranty from purchase for the original registered purchaser, non-transferable. Aipas's FAQ describes a one-year warranty on all e-bikes and a 14-day return request window by email, and the listing says each bike carries a one-year limited warranty.

The battery is not covered for power surges, third-party chargers, improper maintenance, normal wear or water damage including rust, and the warranty page lists wear items separately. The manual says exposure to very wet, hot or cold conditions may void the warranty.

Shipping damage must be reported within 14 days of arrival, which matters with two boxes that may arrive days apart. Replacement parts ship only within the continental United States after photographic evidence, and warranty return shipping, duties and taxes are the claimant's cost.
