A 26 by 4 inch fat-tyre bike with a lockable fork

The Amazon listing's model number AMAK00021 matches the F26FUL entry in the parameter table of Vivi's user manual, which is attached to the listing, and the bullets name the bike the Vivi F26F. Vivi's full specification page describes an aluminium frame, a coil-spring fork with 80 mm of travel that can be locked, 160 mm mechanical disc brakes with motor-cutoff levers, Shimano 1 by 7 gearing, 26 by 4.0 inch tyres, fenders and an electric horn; Vivi's shorter page adds LED headlights.

Gearing is described differently. Vivi's specification page and the manual's table give a single front ring with seven rear speeds, and the listing bullets say a seven-speed transmission. Amazon's title and number-of-speeds field say 21 speeds. The maker documents are consistent with seven, so treat 21 as a listing error unless Vivi says otherwise.

The listing says the bike arrives 90 percent assembled, with the front wheel, handlebars and pedals left to fit. The manual's packing list on page 39 sets out what ships in the box; check the carton against it before starting assembly.

Three battery sizes appear for the same model

This is the point to settle before ordering. The Amazon title says 48V 18Ah and a bullet says 864Wh, but Amazon's own detail table says 624Wh. Vivi's full specification page offers the F26FUL with either a 12.8Ah or an 18Ah battery, described as 614Wh and 864Wh, and calls the 18Ah version Pro. Vivi's shorter F26FUL page says 624Wh, and the manual's table lists 12.8Ah.

Because Vivi sells the same model with two pack sizes, confirm with the seller which battery this listing ships and ask for it in writing. The difference is roughly 40 percent in stored energy, which matters far more for range than any other figure on this page.

Range claims follow the pack confusion. The listing says 40 to 70 miles. Vivi's specification page gives a maximum of 50 miles, 28 to 34 miles on the throttle and 34 to 50 miles with pedal assist, while its introduction says up to 50 to 60 miles. None of these states the battery size, rider weight or speed behind it.

Power, speed and weight also vary

Amazon's wattage field, Vivi's shorter page and the manual all give a 500W motor, which the manual calls a brushless gear motor. Amazon's title and bullets say 750W peak, while Vivi's specification page says 1000W peak with 75 Nm of torque. Top speed is 19.8 mph on Amazon, 22 mph in the manual's table, and a regular 20 mph with a 25 mph maximum on Vivi's specification page.

Vivi's specification page labels the F26FUL e-bike Class 2 while also printing that 25 mph maximum, and does not explain how the two relate. The manual pages read for this guide assign no class. Check your local rules before riding on paths with speed or class limits.

Weight is 60 pounds in Amazon's table, 28 kg or 62 pounds with the battery on Vivi's specification page, and 30.4 kg in the manual's table. The manual gives the bike's size as 1900 by 690 by 1180 mm and a package weight of 34.4 kg, so plan for a heavy carton.

Maximum load: 150 kg on the page, 130 kg in the manual

Vivi's specification page and Amazon's table give a load capacity of 150 kg or 330 pounds. The parameter table in Vivi's manual gives the F26FUL a load of 130 kg, about 287 pounds. Plan around the lower manual figure unless Vivi confirms the higher one in writing, especially if you intend to fit the optional rear rack and carry cargo.

For fit, Vivi's specification page gives a rider height of 170 to 200 cm, a seat height of 85 to 106 cm, a standover of 77 cm or 30.3 inches and a minimum rider age of 16. Riders near the bottom of that range should measure their inseam against the 77 cm standover before ordering.

The manual gives a maximum gradient of 15 degrees and an operating temperature of 32 to 104 degrees Fahrenheit, and its page 27 covers standing height over the frame; check that page against your own inseam before ordering.

Charging, water and the UL claim

Vivi and the manual agree on a 54.6V 2A charger and four to six hours to charge. The manual says to use only the FUYUANDIAN charger model FY1505462000, not to exceed twelve hours on charge and not to exceed 2A. Its charging-precaution pages were not read for this guide, so follow them in the box.

Vivi's specification page lists an IP54 rating. The manual tells owners to keep the battery dry and away from rain and to power off and contact Vivi before restarting if the battery or charger is ever immersed. The listing's suggestion of riding in rain and on ice is not repeated in the maker documents.

Vivi's page says the bike is SGS certified to UL 2849 and UL 2271 and lists GCC and CPSC 1512 as well. No certificate or file number appears in the sources read, and the manual pages read make no certification claim. Ask Vivi for the SGS certificate naming the F26FUL if you need proof.

Warranty: three different descriptions

The listing promises a one-year guarantee on the motor, battery and charger. Vivi's help-centre policy gives 30 days for returns, one year on the frame, fork, battery, motor, controller and charger, and three to six months on the handlebar, meter, rear shock, hub and shifting system. The manual's after-sales table gives twelve months on the battery, motor and controller but six months on the charger.

The manual's table also gives six months on the meter, throttle, brake levers, headlight, wiring, shifters, pedals, crank and seat parts, one month on brake pads, chain and tyres, and none on the toolkit and fender. Ask Vivi which document governs your purchase, particularly for the charger.

Vivi's policy covers the original owner only, supplies parts rather than labour, will not pay return shipping on defective parts and requires shipping damage to be reported within seven days. It says Amazon purchases from authorised dealers are covered, though another paragraph refers other channels to their own terms, so keep your order record.
