The EB5 MAX is Jasion's 26 by 4.0 inch fat-tyre bike on a high-carbon steel frame, with a front suspension fork, disc brakes, a display, a throttle, a front light and a rear rack, per the manual's overview and package list. The listing adds a colour display, cruise control, a password-protected dashboard, pre-installed fenders, puncture-resistant tyres, a lockable fork and 180 mm dual disc brakes.

The manual's package list is the bike, the front wheel, a fender, the rear rack, the front light, the charger, two keys, two stem covers, two pedals, a set of seven tools and the user manual. It asks for a second person able to lift a heavy object to help take the bike out of the box, and the listing warns that separate packages may arrive at different times.

Gearing is not clear from what we read. Amazon's number-of-speeds field says 1, while the manual's product overview labels a shifter on the handlebar. The pages we read do not state a gear count, so check the photos or ask Jasion before ordering if gears matter to you.

Peak power and range: the listing claims more than the manual

The Amazon title and bullets describe a 2000W peak motor. The specification table in Jasion's own EB5 MAX manual says peak 1500W. Neither document gives a continuous or rated motor figure. We report both and do not choose; ask Jasion which figure applies to the bike being sold today and keep the reply.

Range differs in the same direction. The listing says up to 65 miles on assist and 35 miles on the throttle from the 48V 15Ah, 720Wh battery. The manual's table gives a single range figure of 50 miles, or 80.5 km, without conditions. Use the listing's throttle figure or the manual's single figure for planning, not the 65-mile headline.

Top speed is 28 mph in the manual's table and over 28 mph in the listing. Neither the listing nor the manual pages we read assigns the bike a US class 1, 2 or 3 label, and we found no maker document naming UL 2849 or UL 2271 for this model. Check local rules before riding at that speed on shared paths.

Size, weight and a 400-pound payload

The manual gives the bike at 1920 by 610 by 1120 mm and 83 pounds, or 37.8 kg, with the package at 1570 by 310 by 790 mm and 104 pounds. That is a heavy bike to carry up steps or lift onto a car rack, so plan for ground-level storage.

The maximum load is 400 pounds, or 181 kg, in the manual's specification table, and its warning list repeats that you should not exceed a total payload of 400 pounds. The listing does not state a maximum load. The manual also says the bike should never be used by children under 16.

No rider height range appears in the manual pages read or on the listing. Ask Jasion for standover and seat-height figures if you are shorter or taller than average, since neither source gives them.

A seven-to-eight-hour charge and an IPX4 rating

The manual lists a 54.6V charger and a charging time of seven to eight hours for the 48V 15Ah battery, which the listing describes as removable and lockable. That is an overnight charge. The manual's charging pages were not read for this guide, so follow them in the box.

Keys matter on this bike. The manual says that if the key is lost you will not be able to start the bike or replace the battery, and that Jasion does not provide or sell spare keys. Keep the second key somewhere separate from the bike.

The manual's table gives an IP level of IPX4. Its warning list is firmer: the bike is not waterproof, water damage voids the warranty, riding in wet conditions is highly dangerous, and prolonged exposure to heavy rain should be avoided. The listing's mention of wet roads does not change that; treat this as a dry-weather bike.

Read the warranty's purchase condition before ordering

Amazon's warranty field says one year. The manual's limited warranty page describes cover for defects for a period aforementioned without restating a length, and says only the original owner of an e-bike purchased from Jasion online or a physical storefront is covered. It does not mention third-party marketplaces.

Because of that wording, ask Jasion or the seller in writing whether an Amazon purchase of this listing carries Jasion's limited warranty, and for how long, before you buy. Keep your order confirmation. The warranty ends on sale or transfer and does not pass to later owners.

The manual's warranty page lists covered components, names consumables and sets out exclusions that include water damage and improper assembly. The battery is not covered against power surges or an improper charger, and Jasion decides claims at its sole discretion. Read that page for the full lists.

The manual's contents page shows an assembly section, and its first assembly step is fitting the front wheel. The assembly pages themselves were not read for this guide, so follow the printed steps rather than a video alone.
