A pair of selector dumbbells giving 15 settings per hand between 10 and 55 pounds, with moulded storage trays included and a matching stand sold separately. The 10 pound handle bar sets the floor of the range, and NordicTrack does not publish an owner's manual for this model online.

Fit and limits

Strengths

  • Fifteen settings per hand with a single selection system
  • Storage trays are included rather than sold separately
  • NordicTrack publishes the exact model number on its own page

Caveats

  • Nothing lighter than 10 pounds, because the handle bar alone weighs that
  • No NordicTrack-hosted manual found, so no published safety or care rules
  • The stand that raises them off the floor is a separate purchase

It is a pair, and the listing's own fields nearly say otherwise

Amazon's page title reads 55 lb Select-a-Weight Dumbbell Pair and the item details give a set name of pair with a number of items of 2. The same table also gives a unit count of 1 Count, which is the sort of field mismatch worth checking against the offer you actually select.

NordicTrack's own wording settles it from the other direction. Its United Kingdom page describes the product as the benefit of 15 dumbbell pairs in one compact set, and the United States page lists 15 weight adjustments per dumbbell, which is the same claim stated per unit.

Fifteen settings per dumbbell, starting at ten pounds

The specification panel on NordicTrack's United States page lists incremental weight adjusting from 10 pounds to 55 pounds, 15 weight adjustments per dumbbell, 10 pound handle bars, a smooth weight selection system and an included storage tray.

That 10 pound floor is the number to weigh up before buying. The handle bar alone is 10 pounds, so there is no lighter setting; for pressing movements or rehabilitation work below 10 pounds you would need something else. NordicTrack does say the handle bar can be used on its own.

Amazon's bullets describe adjustment in 2.5, 5 and 10 pound increments across the range, which is consistent with 15 settings between 10 and 55 pounds but is a coarser description than a full list. The United Kingdom page states the metric equivalent as 2 or 2.5 kilogram increments between 5 and 25 kilograms.

The same product under two model numbers

Amazon lists the model and part number as NAMSDB20, which matches the model printed on NordicTrack's United States specification panel exactly. The United Kingdom page for the same dumbbells carries NAMSDB20-INT instead, an international variant with metric labelling.

That difference matters only if you are buying accessories or replacement parts, because a part listed for one may not be listed for the other. The manufacturer on the Amazon listing is given as iFIT Health & Fitness, which is the parent company behind the NordicTrack brand.

Trays are included; the stand is not

Both NordicTrack pages list an included storage tray, and Amazon's bullets describe custom-moulded trays with clear weight markings. The included components field on the listing reads dumbbell, tray, which is consistent.

A matching 55 Lb. Select-A-Weight Dumbbell Stand appears on the United States page as a separate add-on, so if you want the set at waist height rather than on the floor, that is an extra purchase. Amazon's measurements table gives the pair at 11.4 by 19.4 inches with a 1.25 inch handle diameter and a 50 pound item weight.

What these pages do not tell you

We could not find a NordicTrack-hosted owner's manual for NAMSDB20 with one focused search. That means this guide cannot tell you what the manual says about dropping the dumbbells, about adjusting the weight off the tray, about inspection intervals or about cleaning, and we are not going to guess at any of it.

Neither product page states a length for the dumbbell at each setting, or whether that length changes as plates are added. Neither describes the locking mechanism beyond calling it a smooth weight selection system. Read the printed manual in the box before the first session and treat its instructions as the authority.

Both pages tie the product to the iFIT app, and the United States page notes that iFIT membership auto-renews unless cancelled in advance, with a credit card required for activation. The dumbbells themselves need no subscription to work.

The warranty text on the listing is a repair promise

Amazon's warranty description states the product is guaranteed for a period of two years, that within this period any defective product will be repaired or replaced by the company free of charge, and that the company will also assume all shipping costs.

Neither NordicTrack page we read reproduces that wording or breaks the term down by component, and the United States page routes warranty questions to a fitness consultant call-back form rather than publishing the document. Ask for the written warranty before you buy if the shipping-cost promise is part of your decision.
